We had a much calmer, much more normal. Start to today than we had yesterday. That was a bit bonkers. Very glad to have a boring uneventful morning so far.

Gave a slight increase up to 2.75 units this morning.

Since I left her in her room yesterday to try to recover from whatever went on yesterday morning, she didn’t really spend any time outside of her room. So this morning I brought her upstairs and she’ll spend the rest of the day in various rooms to get more interesting perspective.

Trying to get a nail trim done today

Hope everyone has a very calm and safe day :cat:

Just catching up with Ivy's odd behaviour yesterday
I think we are all primed to imagine a medical reason for anything unusual that happens but I guess sometimes cats can just be in a weird mood?!
Anyway, glad today is more normal, Staci. May the day remain uneventful for you both :bighug:

It was a wild and scary ride yesterday, Helen! Glad all is BORING so far!!
Wishing you and Noogi a calm day and night, too!:bighug:

I somehow missed Ivy's crazy morning (or, really, kinda seems like most of the day) yesterday! So sorry about that.

You know I can understand the pulling off the Libre frustration! Agh.

It's so weird (but obviously good) that she wasn't hurt but was acting so weirdly. Like Helen said, maybe she was just in a weird mood? Or maybe just generally didn't feel great, but not with anything serious.

So glad this morning has been nice and normal and boring for you so far! Hope it stays that way! :bighug:

I know you can relate, Brianna. It's why I wasn't really around yesterday, had my hands full with a crazy cat and a crazy day!!
It's actually pretty unlike her to go after the sensor, (but I do know she will, so it's always covered) Somehow she managed to lick the area enough and she sure got it loose. That thing was kind of hanging on by a thread (and giving the oddest readings) :banghead:

I do hope you and Xander are doing well!! :bighug::bighug:

Completely understandable! We check in when we can but sometimes the caretaking has double overtime instead of the usual overtime.

Is it relatively near the end of the sensor? I know that sometimes the fur growing back in can push it up a little and cause itching, so maybe she just had a bad itch under there and it was driving her nuts.

It was the last day of the sensor and when I removed it the hair was really grown in so much! So maybe it was pushing it up more than normal. Maybe Spring faster hair growth? Who really knows. I was so glad I had installed a new sensor Saturday am and was "marinating" it for a planned activation Sunday morning. So I just activated it in the middle of the night and we were up and running.

I just got luck on that one! Glad I didn't have to install it at 1:30 am (done that before and it SUCKS!)

I'm glad things were normal this morning. I hope Ivy was just having an off day yesterday. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Me too, Carla. I do think she may have slightly injured herself the way she jumped off the bed...but today she seems ok and jumped on a sofa and spent the day there today.
Thanks for checking on us today :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci. I am catching up and just read your yesterday condo. I know that was nerve wracking. Glad to hear today is more normal and Ivy didn't hurt herself.
Hope you were able to get a nail trim in today.
Nice PM blues  Wishing you both a calm night and safe surf!
