Another pink day. That's left me feeling blue. No change with the pen just yet. I'll give him a bit to adjust.
Just an FYI to any lurkers, since Cobb is IAA/suspected acro I am having to be more aggressive in my dosing, please do not follow suit. This is not regular, "straightforward" feline diabetes (if there is such a thing). To those who are concerned, I know I am taking risks in upping his R dose, please know I am watching Cobb carefully. You'll see on my spreadsheet I don't give large doses of R when I am not around (like yesterday morning) or at night when I want to sleep. I have plenty of karo/recovery food should I need it. I am dosing more aggressively than is typically recommended on the board. Again, please do not follow suit.
Thanks for the visits yesterday and the car travel advice. I love it all. We have a SUV so it's all open. When I moved from SC to FL I let Cobb roam free. He thought the best place to sit was underneath the pedals. That was fine on the interstate but not on surface streets, lol. He's going to have to hang out in his carrier this weekend. I don't think letting him roam with the baby in the backseat will go very well, especially if he gets spooked since Matty can't move out of the way. If the trip goes well and we end up traveling more with him, I'll invest in a bigger carrier for him and rethink the plan.
Happy Monday all!
