Ooh a blue start for Ms Ollie today.

It's chilly, in the 40s and damp, to cold to work outside at least for me. Guess I will continue doing my computer update. Have to call Apple and find out why "my docs" won't sync with back up. The ones I need backed up. And then antivirus program isn't compatible with new version of Apple so have to call them.

Good luck with your computer! Are the docs on your I-Cloud? The little that I know about Macs/Apple is that the I-Cloud account has to be coordinated with your devices.

I hope Ollie adjusts to the new dose soon :)

I don't know. Don't even know how to get to Icloud.

Stay away from iCloud. It's too expensive. My DH just spent weeks unwinding a non profit company from iCloud who had put all their docs up there and it was costing them a major monthly charge. It is much cheaper to buy an external drive or thumb drive and back your docs up to there.

I needed to up date iMac to new operating system. Originally thought that was the problem as to why I couldn't get Bill Pay anymore (I still think it was a bank site issue). Apple told me to back up computer first, so got hard drive and backed up as instructed and if course I didn't get all the screens it shows to click through. for it done though. Then my virus program said it wasn't compatible with new Mac update and to call for help with that. So I did and that is fixed now. Now I have an alert where "my docs" has been moved or name changed so it can't back up. I have no idea what or where it means.

And how do I retrieve anything from external hard drive if I need it. I will have to talk to Apple again.
 
Sorry for the computer issues....sometimes the computer really stresses me out and that is when I need to walk away from it.
I hope you get to solve your issues:)

When you plug in your external drive it should show in "finder" and you should be able to click on it and see what is on there.
