Looks like this bean needs to practice her fat 1.0 dosing! But, we'll get there! Another promising start for Willie with no major bounce off of Monday's greens. Fud wars continue. put his bowl down this morning... he sniffed it, circled away, and then walked back to sit on the floor in front of of me on the bed. Licked his lips and meowed a couple times. Put some bonitos on his fuds, met with a " whatever. not good enough." stare. finally told him to " get over there and eat your breffis!!" dramatic sighs ensued, but breffis finally consumed. when did my little kittenface decide to morph into a petulant teenager??? :lol: :lol: :lol:

they can be like teenagers, sometimes like toddlers. But we love them.

I hand feed Moonie on a paper plate with cat food after her am & pm shot so that I KNOW she ate something.
These cats are SOOOOOOOOOOO Picky! I have every flavor of FF classic here in cases!! Just because they will do the same thing--Sniff, nose goes up & they leave, then look at me & MEOW cat(2)_steam
Remember, dogs have masters, cats have staff!!

Hi guys .. so glad there wasn't a bounce after willies greens .. and look at these nice numbers today! Mocha won't eat her food at all on the linoleum floor .. it HAS to be on the carpet before she will eat it and trust me, we have had some stares downs and then I give up :lol: have a great day guys!

I think Maggie has more food in the kitchen cabinet than me! Like Roni, I have so many different flavors of FF, a few Merrick, some Wellness, and Sophisticat. Hope you're having a wonderful day.

I avoid the picky-eater syndrome simply by not providing much of a choice!! I found what Rusty likes and that's what he gets.

Ella (of course I have a number of cans of various foods that he didn't much care for!!!)

Willie's doing well tonight... he did eat a decent amount of his raw while I was gone today. Home from tennis, but have an upset tummy. :(

Got the Arkray strips from ADW today, and sure enough, they are identical to the Relion strips you get at Walmart, and the meter looks identical to the confirm; it is just grey instead of pink or blue. Strips worked just fine in the meter, though I was annoyed... the Advocate measured at 100... the Relion? 73. Within the 20%, but that is a big difference! Checked the control solution, and everything is groovy, so assuming both are correct, his +2 is in the 80-87 range.

Price on the Arkray strips were great. Taking out the cost of the meter and control solution I bought, and taking into account the $8.xx cashback I got, I paid around $0.21/strip, compared to $0.40/strip at Walmart.... a little more than half the price. The meter kit surprisingly came with 10 strips, a bottle of control solution and a lancet pen (different from the Relion pen) and 10 lancets. One more FYI... if you need a filler to get to free shipping and prefer larger lancets, ADW sells Arkray lancets in 25g and 28g, and they are under $2 for 100!

wow, willie is looking awesome today! go willie go!

i love my kids to pieces, but am SO happy to not have to consider their food pickinesses when i fix dinner. the youngest is a freshman in college and it's been a whole new food experience at our house! punkin, on the other hand, is a hoover who eats everything i put down. it's my reward for suffering through the picky teenage eaters. ;-)

Christie, Willie's looking so good! Tessie Lou will only eat her food out of ONE dish. A pretty little white saucer, that sits on a placmat on the floor. If the food is displeasing in some way, the offending stuff is covered up with the placemat. T.J., on the other hand, won't eat anything out of a dish or bowl. It must be served directly on the stovetop, and he really prefers that I feed him one spoonful at a time and tell him what a great eater he is! :oops: :oops: :lol: :lol: Can't believe I admitted that.
