Yesterday's Condo

Compared the Relion, Arkray and Advocate this morning (Hello, my name is Christie...):
Advocate 127
Relion 131
Arkray 138

Would like to get one more comparison at lower green #s. Ultimately, the relion will be my backup as long as I can get cheap strips for the Advocate. Going to donate the arkray...what to do with the freestyle?

Willie is all furry purry happy this morning, though he didn't want his shot this morning. each request for him to come here with met with a sad, pitiful meow. he's finally had breffis, checked out the house and is now curled up next to me. cuddle time!

I have 3 meters too...and I was thinking in buying another one the other day....for what? {{shrugs}} :lol: :lol:

I think I understand the meter addiction. The biology nerd in me was almost happy when I got mine, 'cause hey, New TOy!

I do like having a backup that I can buy strips for locally, the $$ gives me heart failure though since most of them wil sit there and expire. And someone always has something new they absolutely love. The problem is what to do w/ the old meters we don't like. ohmygod_smile

Willie was cross at me this morning. Tennis really got to me last night, so I had full on body aches along with a wicked headache. Then bit into my breakfast sandwich and managed to do something to my jaw. Spent a little extra time in bed, then when I was in the kitchen getting Willie's food together for the day, he decided that since I was home, it was time for him to go out on the fire escape. Yeah, that "no" didn't go over well!! Stomping, huffing, and snarky meows commenced. Such attitude!! He might just be grounded!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Think I'm going to leave tbp early today and get in a walk before thunderstorms arrive tonight. Looks like we're out of range for the severe weather today, but areas south of us may get hit. Tomorrow is supposed to be cold and rainy. Sucks for getting out of bed to go to tbp, but I'll take it as it is supposed to be beautiful this weekend!!

Greetings from a fellow GAA member... :lol: :lol: I know on what to do with the meters we don;t like, don't want, can't stand, will never use. I think it was Lisa's condo sometime ago where she wrote that they all go in "that drawer". :lol: :lol: I symbolically buried the Infinity.

Willie is having another great night. YAY! So very very nice to see.

I have heard rumblings from AZ and the camp-out in the desert, seems that the swiffer wet jet made it, but malfunctioned somewhere due to an incorrectly installed floor cleaner... seems Mannie nailed several kitties, while attempting to rectify the error. Seems all the towels in Gracie's bean bathrooms were used in an effort to dry very wet kitties. Mannie wouldn't discuss what happened to the dryer.... :shock:

I second that. And I actually hate shopping for shoes...!

Christie, you sure sound like quite the tennis player. I hope the nice weather for this weekend isn't just Mother Nature messing with us. :smile:

Hee hee!!! Tennis player, not so much!! I've never played competitively... I just started taking lessons this winter when softball was done for the year. I've actually really liked, though this latest class I'm in is a serious workout and I'm seriously not in shape!! I think the poor instructor spends half the class rolling his eyes at me, but hey... I keep trying! I think I also score points because unless I'm just exhausted, I'll dive after almost any ball (something my body is reminding me today that I'm too old to be doing!). At least there's effort! :lol: :lol: :lol:

as for meter shopping... I think I'm just a deal seeker, and I'd like an affordable backup meter or maybe would like to switch from the advocate should I not be able to keep getting strips so cheaply. I couldn't resist trying out the Arkray to see if it would work in the Relion meters. I also wanted to try it because I know many here like the Relion, and even travel long distances to get strips. Having an online option that has been tested and proven to work and is cheaper may benefit others. And really, it is important to use my crazy coupon lady powers for good!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
