A very nice start for Trix with only a small fuds spike this morning. I wonder why she has suddenly started doing the fuds spike thing again? She has been turning it around by +4 for the most part...just another interesting, rhetorical FD question that has no real answer :lol: !

Last night was "ouchie" night :sad: ...first, I did an ouch shot that she even yelled at me over. I can't remember the last time that has happened. I gave her extra FortiFlora with her BP meds to make things right...she was pleased. Then I also did an ouchie poke with her fluids, too :sad: ...she hissed at me. Poor sweet girl. She did settle once the needle was in...for about 3/4 of the session. Then she suddenly decided she was done and walked off - there was no stopping her, she was DONE! Since my brain is trained to administer "full doses", it was a bit psychologically challenging to let her go, but since we did manage to get 75mls out of 100mls in, I didn't want to re-poke for just 25mls.

Zen is totally back to himself - yay!

Today is the final day of BeadFest, so after the show closes at 5:00, we have to pack it all up. Then, we get to UNpack it all at the store tomorrow morning. Phew....

Sorry about the ouchies. Rusty got one this morning, too. Must be the weather! Very nice high green AMPS for Trixie. She's seeing to it that you don't have to worry about her numbers while you're at the bead show.

That's great news about Zen! I know that's a needed relief for you right now. Trix, surf safely for the bean while she puts in another exhausting day at work.

Those have been some really great AMPS numbers the past couple of days. I noticed that those numbers have been slowly coming down over the past several days. Paws crossed that trend will continue.

Love those numbers, even with a fuds spike. Zener has gotten a few ouchies with his AB shots this week, too. I can understand the "full dose" mentality! We learn all kinds of lessons with FD. :lol: :lol: :lol: I hope today goes well at BeadFest.

Ah.... that infamous +2 fuds spike,. That was a Mannie specialty too, I could count on it, like clock work.... :roll: Sure are nice numbers today though. GO TRIXIE! Sorry for the ouchies... I think we have all done those. Never fun.

I am so glad Zen is all better. YAY!

Good luck with BeadFest. I hope all goes well there.

Nice numbers for Trixie today. I hate those ouchies. I always feel so bad. I think the kitties get over them quicker than we do.

Too bad about the ouchies. I, too, think the kitties get over them faster than we do. Especially when you bribe them with treats! ;-) :lol:

I hope Trixie doesn't decide to wade into the lagoon while you're gone - or at least, let's hope she keeps it in the shallow end! Hear that, Trix? Stay safe while Mama's busy!

Good luck with the last day of the fest. Packing everything up and then having to unpack it again is the worst part of the weekend, isn't it? Hope all goes smoothly.
 
Hi Amy,

I wanted to let you know I've been lurking around reading post and stuff.
I don't have a kitty to dote on, and so this is where I end up, where there are "others" like me, but I'm missing a kitty. I read Trixie has some kidney issues, but it seems like you have everything under control. I have no doubt about that. I'm glad you have her on liquids. I think Daphne could have used them, but it was too late when I figured it all out I think.

I hope to stop by your shop someday to say hi, before the winter comes and I become house bond again.

I'm missing my Daph so much, and its almost a month. Still didn't even write a tribute, I hope to soon...
