WCR: Scrape is healing, with the AB cream. Still doesn't like the menu -- FF old-label chicken mixed with either Wellness Chicken, Wellness Beef+Chicken, or new label FF chicken. I think I'll give the Evo one more try. But he is eating enough, thanks to liberal seasoning with chicken dust!

Question: I don't sprinkle chicken dust on the food I leave out at night, because I worry it will spoil. What do the rest of you do?

no advice on the chicken dust, we don't use it. Just wanted to say kitty is looking really good!

Kitty is doing so well! Fingers crossed.

Glad the scrape is healing. Personally, I'd leave the food out with the dusting of chicken, I think 12 hours or less would be okay.

We use a feeder over night. Do you mean the freeze dried dust?

Yes, I mean the freeze-dried dust - though by the time I put water in his food, it starts to rehydrate and looks more like chicken.

Thing is... with chicken dust on top, I'm sure the food wouldn't last 12 hours! Though he does lick off the dust and leave the rest. :lol:

I stopped using the chilled feeder, because he doesn't like food cold. But with summer coming, I don't know about leaving out wet food all night. Hmmm...

I'm presuming you have AC and the food wouldn't be effected any more by room temp with AC running. Have you ever tried making catsickles? If you add water to food and then freeze it in ice trays, you can leave a few "cubes" out and they will gradually come up to room temp.

Yes, Sienne, I tried catsicles, before I got the timer. No dice. He is one finicky baby.

Good, I'm glad you think the AC will keep the food at acceptable range. We let the house get a few degrees warmer in the summer, but it should be okay.

WCR is really fine. The scrape is much better, too. All is well. :mrgreen:
