It was so nice to see all the greens last night without his numbers going too low. I am really glad that Jupiter gave Dane a stress-free night of testing. I am really hoping to see some of those nice numbers again today!!

I am not sure what time he ate prior to testing - we woke up late this morning so we didnt get a chance to take away the food for the 2 hours prior to AMPS.

Jupiter was very playful this morning - he must be feeling pretty good.

Look at that BEAUTIFUL green surf from last night! I was surprised by his high AMPS this morning. How's he doing so far today? And more importantly, how are you feeling today? I hope you got some sleep last night.

Yep I got some sleep last night and feeling a little better today.

I am not sure why his AMPS was so high - it always seems to be pretty high in the AM.

I wouldnt be surprised if the reason it goes up at AM +2 is because I give him a pill pocket (he is on anxiety medicine) On the weekends he usually gets his pill pocket right after AMPS. On weekdays he is given the pill 2 hours prior to AMPS.

Do you happen to be using the allergy formula pill pockets? They don't have corn syrup in them and are OK for use with a diabetic cat. You may have to buy the dog version since I think they are no longer making the kitty sized allergy formula (duck & pea) pill pocket.

I'm not at all surprised to see pink numbers. Jupiter bounced! He's not used to spending all that time in green numbers so his liver and pancreas overreacted. The higher numbers will clear -- although it could take up to 72 hours.

Can we play "I Spy?"

I spy something small...
I spy something soft...
I spy something warm & cuddly...
I spy something with 4 legs, 2 ears & 2 eyes...
I spy something with lots of luv for his momma bean...
I spy something with some spring in his steps...
I spy something that resembles a kangaroo...

I spy Jupiter doing his bouncy thang! ;-)

He'll get over it, and then back to pancreas healing time. It looks like today was a great time to get some rest and recharge your batteries - have a good night Jamie, Dane & Jupe! Sleep tight! I-) I-) I-)
