Happy Hump Day LL! Sending healing vines to ill kitties, beans, and beans loved ones. We hope everyone will feel better soon. Also keeping our dear friends in thought whose beloved companions have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Gracie is doing well this morning....she has gone btb with Miss Teddi Bear. I am concerned about her left eye...we were decreasing the meds and now it seems to be acting up again so I will contact the eye vetty. Bummer! Not sure what was up with that cycle last night..either a bounce OR Mike said there is the possibility that she got into Teddi's canned food (MUCH higher carbs) because he had put Teddi's down and then the pool guys needed something. When he came back in the house, Gracie was lurking near Teddi's dish so......hopefully Gracie will kick off any contraband carbs and get back to work today.

Today is our little baby man's FIRST birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOBEY!!! After GA Max crossed in Feb, 2010, it only took a couple months for us to know that Gracie needed a lifelong companion and playmate since the civvies are much older than she is. What an exhaustive search I did for a Scottish Fold kitten. I wanted one that would be tough enough to withstand Gracie's rough play but that wouldn't overwhelm Teddi and would respect her as the matriarch. I looked at tons of kittens and talked to many breeders. Finally, one of the breeders at the top of my list let me know she had some litters and as soon as I saw Tobey's picture..love at first sight. I flew to Nashville to get him when he was 13 weeks old. He has been everything and more that we had ever hoped for. So...our kitten...welcome to cathood!! And thank you for being such an awesome companion for Baby Gracie. Here is a birthday photo of Tobey in his best "am I not adorable" pose and also a cute video of when he was a little kitten. Have a great day....and we are looking forward to all the kitties coming here for a birthday party and cinnamon cake baking!!!

DH here - 303 at +2, so not sure if its a food spike or she is setting up for a flat day. I'm kicking myself for the possible contraband yesterday, but that was in the morning and I wouldn't think it would stick around this long. Maybe just one of those unexplained bounces.

happy birthday sweet toby! his eyes remind me of someone . . . . did you ever have a furby? my youngest was at the perfect age when they were popular and i think toby's eyes remind me of her furby's beautiful eyes.

Friends! This is cause for much celebration! Our chief masseuse for the KTSS is one year old today. PAR-TAY! I'm thinkin'....... BBQ! uhhhhhhhhhh cabana bean, tis that OK? We can uhhhhhh borrow your BBQ stuff too? SWEET! ok! Aww, thanks, I saw the video. Tobey is a doll! I can see why you like the Scottish folds. So adorable. I saw one up for adoption at PetsMart some time ago. It didn't stay there long. I saw a Siamese mix kitty there today that looked so much like my GA Siamese, but this kitty seemed much calmer.

Yeah...they're all out there camping again tonight but this bean is headed for bed. Daddybean in charge of Gracie AND all the other LL kits!! Ni Ni from me...Mike will stay tuned.

DH here - Well, I'm putting on my Johnny Quest footie PJ's. Looks like it might be a long night. Gave her a little 6% with a couple of drops of karo and recheck in 30.

DH here - nice slowdown, but she is still in her onset window. Gave her her regular 6% +3 meal with 1 drop of Karo. Hoping she stops and settles in for a surf. Recheck in 30

Nice slowdown! The karo kept Tess up for about 2 hours, wash, rinse repeat. :roll: See you later. :lol:

She cut her descent rate in half again, so I think I'll not feed this one and recheck at +4. We've decided if she slips below 50 tonight we won't give a dose reduction since we are experimenting a little with how to handle her at the low end of the curve.
