4/13/22. CALI AMPS 126, +3.5 84, +4.5 88, +7.3 167, PMPS 366, +3 273

Even Ms. Cali is getting excited about her greens [and her body is saying “hungry”]. Still takes 2 people to test this girl wearing gloves and long sleeves. She heard her daddy come into the house and turn the microwave on. When it beeped, she rapidly gimped to the kitchen and jumped up for another test/feed. She thought he was warming her ear socks and wanted to be ready. This girl may weigh 30 pounds if she is rewarded fed after every test! [only 15 pounds to go]

GUIDANCE ON NEXT TEST TIMES PLEASE @bandits mom, @tiffmaxee @Wendy&Neko

@Bhooma closed iPad overnight to charge. Looking for a good Green Day today. Levemir is a whole new ballgame. Still trying to grasp nuances of Cali’s onset, nadir and duration. In the meantime, so appreciate your guidance. Re: posting, do I need to edit post/thread title each time I add new tests? Also do I have to close FDMA and reopen to see new adds? [seems I have missed some comments until later when I close and reopen]
Also you provided 3 LC dry foods to another member. While I will NEVER let Cali have even 1 single crumb of kibble the rest of her life, I want to get some LC or low/medium carb dry food to supplement my civvie tuxedo kitty, Two Socks. Any recommendations from your perusal or experience. He is also food driven and not particular yet. This is to supplement his LC wet. I sure don’t want to repeat Cali’s experience with diabetes [only Taste of the Wild dry 8 years at recommendation of vet]. Now we know better

Yes. if you can, you want to edit the title to add the test results. That's more critical in an active cycle when numbers are low and we are looking for quick updates.

If Two Socks is happy to eat LC wet, it's better not to introduce LC kibble. You will have to worry about Cali getting into and in any case, wet is much better than dry.
Is Two Socks not eating enough wet food?

Absolutely can and will do!

I know how to do that on windows PC but not intuitive to me on Apple iPad.
Any techies out there to instruct?

Two Socks will definitely eat all the LC wet I provide! He has cases of Friskies LC pate seafood that Walmart kept shipping when I ordered Poultry Platter pate. Cali will eat some seafood, but not her favorite. Unfortunately I know Two Socks came here from two previous homes eating kibble. Because he is so active, weight is not a problem. Though he is longer and bigger, they currently weigh the same at 14.8 pounds. When he came here, he and the feral barn kitty became the recipient of all the accumulated dry kibble that we stored away from Cali. That is gone now but I like to give him a few pieces of kibble as treat/reward when he comes back inside every time I call him. Also if/when we travel he will need some to graze between feedings. Thank you for loving my Two Socks tuxedo boy!

Cali is already in the green today! 84 at +3.5
Is this considered active onset cycle and should I continue testing every hour or so until we see rising?

Why not give him freeze dried meat as treats instead? They have the crunch of kibble and are 100% meat.

87 @+3 and 84 @+3.5? How about a +5? It is indeed an active cycle, so more tests and a little food after evert test to keep her surfing

Cali beat you to it. She readied herself for a +4.5 test, 88. Fight, concede, meter beep, food, potty and now nap time. What a life our felines have!
By the way I did learn to refresh browser! What a genius I am, not. Inch by inch.
I use real bites freeze dried chicken for Cali treats/bribes. Two Socks’ life might be in peril if Cali had to share those also. Yes, maybe his own bag downstairs. Good idea. Thanks

@ +7.3 167 [although I fed @+6.75 awaiting assistance to test].
Does this mean a bounce and nadir was @+3.5 with 84? Hope there is not a pop quiz on graphing the curves
