Good luck with the the reduction. I think it’s good you took a smaller one. I would have held but my crystal ball doesn’t seem to work with Kahlua.

I was going to hold....until I saw that 71 yesterday morning....and I decided to just dive in. Hopefully that was wise....who knows anymore!
 
@Suzanne & Darcy Mouse update! The other day it occurred to me that Miralax might be causing her to drink and pee a lot. I decided to stop giving it and see what happened. She improved dramatically. She's eating and playing. She's not drinking like a maniac or peeing all the time. Today she went in for a urine check and the big bad infection is gone and her urine looks perfect! The vet wants me to cut down on the miralax but not stop because she's worried Mouse could back up again. But, for today....good news!

That is fantastic! There are other things you could try to prevent constipation besides Miralax. Fiber (pumpkin/psyllium), lactulose, etc. But for now, maybe just a little bit will help. How much do you give (tell me again). I have one kitty that I give a pinch to every morning and it keeps him regular (he can get a little constipated from a medication that he takes.) I purchased the measuring spoons that include things like dash, pinch and smidgen.

She gets 1/8 twice a day. The vet suggested 1/16. She pooped today so I'm happy. I may measure it out and try sprinkling it on each dish throughout the day. She is very hungry!
