Yesterday's visit to Brasil

Zener is turning his Brasilian vacation into an extended stay - 2 whole days so far! :lol: :lol: :lol: We like green but these blues and yellows are nice. He is doing fine this morning. He and Tillie are in the backyard, enjoying a sunny, calm morning. He had a bit of a soft poo in the LB last night (probably due to the clindamycin) but it's not bad. We have stopped the miralax and stepped up the fortiflora. Only 2 more shots to go.

OT: I am working on taxes! Ugh. Touch wood, computer is working fine so far.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. Big hugs to Rachel, as she had to say goodbye to her sweet Chyna kitty this week. We all grieve. Sending no coughing vines to Tarragon. He is such a brave boy with amazing beans. Paws crossed for OTJ trials - Boots and Jersey. :mrgreen: Boots is being quite the tease with those 100 readings. :lol: Happy Caturday, LL!

Low yellows and a fine feeling kitty = happy beans. :-D :-D A touch of blue, perhaps even green, wouldn't hurt either, Mr. Z :-D
So glad he is feeling good, Liz. Warm, sunny backyard is perfection for a kitty.
Sending formed poo vines - Did your vet give you injectable AB just because you asked?

We've been through bouts with clamavox and clindamycin for various things, usually dentals. Zener's GI system is pretty delicately balanced and ABs usually give him diarrhea and stop his eating. Before our last dental, we talked with our vet about using the dreaded Covenia because of the ability to inject it and not have it directly absorbed through his GI system, and we were desperate to avoid the pudding poo - no eating complication. (a few years ago, and a different vet, he had some sort of injection -preFD - and was given Covenia without complications). She told us we could give the clindamycin by injection as well, and it was a much better AB for GI bugs. She is not a covenia fan. So, Team Zener, as our vet calls us, made the decision to use the injectable clindamycin. We can usually get at least five days before his GI system gets out of whack.

Sound like you have a great vet! How lucky that she respects your knowledge and experience with your cat and will work with you.

Zener, you look so nice in blue today. I think you should wear it more often, and maybe accessorize now and then with a hint of green. Stay away from the pinks, though - they don't go well with your eyes! :lol:

I started to post in your condo last night and fell asleep and thankfully I did not hit "submit" before I fell asleep because what I typed was totally unintelligible! OH?? "Is that different than usual" you say? :lol: :lol: :lol:

I am glad to hear there is someone that was later than I was on finishing taxes but we got our refunds back in about a week :-D :-D :-D Thank you IRS!

Yup, the Z-Man has everything in balance, sort-of. And that's a pretty nice PMPS.
Oh, taxes!!! I hope you get them done without too much trouble.
We ordered Edward's iMac today!!!!! 27-inch screen! Lots of machine, I think. Now that ZoomText ( his magnification software) supports Macintosh there is no reason to stick with Windows.

Ice is still thick on the lakes.
