Whew, what a night we had last night! I normally don't get nervous when she drops low, but last night she was so frantic for food, and all the other cats were so crazed and possessed that I actually WAS nervous last night - especially since the gravy was keeping her flat, not making her go up like it usually does. Weirdness all around. We continued to sleep-test until we started seeing a good rise just after +8. I still don't know what I think of this dose...she did REALLY jump when DH did the shot last night, so we're wondering if he "hit something", and that was why her numbers and response were the way they were last night. Another one of those mysteries we'll never know the answer to...

Looks like she's food-spiking or bouncing...heading farther in the opposite direction than I care for :roll: ...oh well.

I've got a crazy several days ahead of me now, as my store will be vending at a bead show outside of Philly. If I'm not able to get to condos through the weekend, I'll still check on everyone as I can, and as usual, I'll always be thinking of everyone!

Hi Amy, I saw when Trixie was dropping. Does it normally take a while for her to go up after adding gravy? It is nervewracking, especially when you also have four others, or is it five? Sorry it's so busy there for you and hope things go smooth. Hang in there and have a good day.

She usually responds right away to gravy, and I usually on have to give it to her once to get her surfing safer numbers. I had to give it to her 3 times, just to keep her flat in the 40s last night.

We have 5 others. At one point, Zen had the major post LB zoomies, and started a scuffle with Petey. Trix doesn't like it when the others fight, plus she was already moody because of the low numbers, so she got in the middle of it too. Everyone else was on high alert after that. Anytime Mario wanted to eat, Trix was MAJORLY trying to steal his food. It was crazy.

Today is much, much calmer. She's now laying on my arm, making it impossible for me to type....

Busy night last night! It is a little scary when they don't want to come back up. Great job. We were up as well but I was actually working and didn't get online while Tarragon surfed the green lagoon with Trixie. Hope it isn't too crazy for you!
 
Just feeling heavy-hearted over here...BigMac, Curry, Atlas, Rusty....too much for one week...

Everyone here is always in my thoughts and prayers....

Wow, it does sound crazy at your house last night. Looks Iike tonight will be calmer, right, Trix? Hope the show goes well. We are all sad here tonight.

I wonder if the gravy contributed to the intensity of the bounce? Some days the shed is so full, it's just hard to get them up.
