Well, definitely no diving this morning (yet) and a big fat nasty Red. wonder where that came from? Wondering if decrease was too soon??? or it's just him responding, melodramatically as usual, to a run of a bit of blue. Seriously? hm... will hold the 1.75 dose for tonight again and see what we get. Who knows what number he'll throw at me by PMPS. Insulin cartridge was new on March 18, so technically should still be good for another 6 days at least. I guess he's just bouncing.. still. Looking at my 'bounce' graph, his bounces have sort of levelled off the last few times.. before he bounced way further, way quicker, now he's going less high, and recovering quicker... but seeming to be in a sort of annoying pattern! grrr. Interestingly, he had Friskies last night vs the wellness he's been on. Can't think it would make that much difference but who knows. Will keep him on the Wellness exclusively for next little while. Of course I have a case of the EVO as well which is supposedly 0% carbs but I think he got a bit too low for his liver's liking when he was exclusively on that. Sigh. such a dance you are leading me on Rupert!

As far as HE is concerned, seems a little less active and excited today, but still looks good. He is preening on the lower levels of the couch at the moment. Sure hope he gets this latest silliness over with and gets back to business soon!

Hope all in LL are doing well this Thursday morning (or evening depending where you are!) and that all kitties are playing nice and feeling BEBT! Looking forward to more good updates from BigMac.

Ann & Maggie and I were talking just yesterday how Friskies Poultry Platter can cause a spike in more carb sensitive kitties even though its only 7%. Her Maggie will also get a boost from FF Turkey & Giblets and its only 3%, according to the charts. Maybe Rupert got the Friskies Spike?

(I actually gave Ruby the FF T&G this morning, to see if it bumps her up too.)

ETA - I just looked up the ingredients in the Friskies Poultry Platter and it contains rice. What flavor did you give Rupert last night?

Rupie only gets the Ocean/whitefish, or the Salmon or the Seafood Supreme, all supposed to be less than 6 or 7%. he's back on Wellness (which of course is the most expensive!) for now!

+6 and a 284. At least it's a downward trend and not a massive slide and dive! Hopefully it's the morning bounce clearing and we'll see some more fun tonight. Only fourth cycle on latest reduction, so I'm hoping he'll settle soon and give me some more nice numbers.

Looks like Rupie's bounce is clearing -- maybe for some green action tonight? Go Rupie!

Hoping for some green action, but so so so very sad about BigMac, didnt' know Carolyn or him very long but still feel so very very sad.
 
PMPS and a stinky pink again. Maybe Rupert is sad about BigMac. Gave 1.75 again, this will be fifth cycle. Am thinking of going back to the 2 again soon though unless we get back to the nice green action. He could still be bouncing I guess, mainly from the fast slide rather than the numbers since he only hit low blues last time so really no reason to panic. Guess we'll see what he throws me tonight after my riding lesson. I'll be back for +2.5ish.

+3 and a 349. Methinks perhaps we reduced too soon??? will see where he's sitting tomorrow, maybe go for a fatter 1.75. Weekend is coming up, probably would make more sense to go back up on Friday evening so I'm around. Of course we have a big event to go to on Saturday night!! figures he'll get himself sorted out RIGHT then! shhhh, don't tell him! He's drinking more tonight and seems more hungry, but other than that, seems quite happy in himself. Perhaps a little less active again. Before, these higher numbers didn't bother him as much.. I'm taking it as a good sign that he's now noticing them a bit more, and is perhaps getting used to the lower ones. Hopefully he'll give me at least a yellow tomorrow morning to start with. Silly boy.
