I'm supposed to be working in the office today, but since Mikey has a vet appointment at noon (yearly checkup!), I'm working from home until then. Mikey's giving me another nailbite_smile day! I'm going to try to remember to bring my Micro and Prime meters into the vet today to get a comparison.

That kind of surf counts no matter which meter. Looking great.

Chip is just getting started now. nailbite_smile @-) nailbite_smile

I believe I have "When We Left Earth" (the whole series) recorded somewhere. Have to check and see if it's the one I think it is. ;-)

Mikey has been much more active these last few days of surfing green  and is giving Henry quite a bit of competition in the mischievousness department.

Might I ask where you live to have such late shot times or do you have non-standard working hours?

And I'm a total Space Geek, so when my brother left it playing on the TV when he went to bed at a reasonable 11 pm, I got sucked into watching it till 3 am!

Okay, now I'm super nervous. nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile Just fed him some real medium carb gravy. Hopefully this is one of his early, short nadirs where he immediately starts heading back up again.

I also just noticed he hadn't eaten any of his breakfast yet, but he's just dived into it (the gravy probably helped  ) So hopefully that's why he went so low so fast!

Good catch on that one!

It might also happen if they eat and then barf such as a hairball.

And if the real gravy isn't enough, then you can break out the karo. @-)

Always have a *backup* for the "backup" plan.

Re: 4/12 Michelangelo AMPS 138, +3/51, +7/61

I've fed him a whole can of 20% carb FF Gravy Lover's so far over the course of today AND he had a visit to the vet for his one-year checkup (or as the vet said, "just a formality so I can still claim him as 'my' patient." ) I'm thinking I might need to skinny up this dose for tonight's PMPS? Because I want to be able to safely shoot him and, if it weren't for me working from home today, I have a feeling he wouldn't be as safe as he is....

Re: 4/12 Michelangelo AMPS 138, +2/91, +3/51

That is close enough to a reduction you could do a skinny? But otherwise what an amazing run! :thumbup

When Chip went nearly all green for the first time, I stayed up for 30 hours straight. Actually in disbelief.

When he started dragging 50's like that I initially took some reductions, but then later on I stopped doing that.

You want to maintain the normal numbers but you have to find the balance that you are comfortable with.

I'm in greater North America, more specifically the coterminous U.S. ;-)

Chip's shots are just off by that much. And I don't seem to be making much progress getting back on schedule.

Fortunately things are rather flexible even when I can't be home. And I'm typically not more than 5 or 10 minutes away.

I'm a Compleriously Demented Space Docu-Dweeb. For some reason those are comforting to sleep through. But then I always want to watch again when alert. :-D

Another low shoot number. Skinnied Mikey's 2.5u to see if he holds this better.

OT: yesterday morning, I woke up to the sound of Henry getting into my brand new, unopened bag of pre-shelled sunflower seeds. Then, this morning, I was eating a few sunflower seeds and Henry starts going for them again! :o What kind of "obligate" carnivore is he? (Aside from catching and eating two whole birds in a four-day span.)

Don't let Mikey get into those seeds, they're surely high glycemic?

So the good run at least made it to PMPS, another PJ party? And good timing going into a weekend. @-)

That's what can happen when your good dose finally resonates.

Back on topic: I found my (unlabeled) My Book with "When We Left Earth" recorded in 2008. When it premiered on lowly Discovery.

Remember when the Discovery Channel used to show documentaries? Surprised they still did in 2008.

Well done series. I should be able to sleep soundly with it playing, before Chip gets back to business. ;-) ;-)
