Yesterday was.... YELLOW day in MannieLand. I think that the AM cycle was a good one yesterday, flat consistent and mostly yellow. I see that as improvement. Perhaps some of it is due to the lack of fuds the night before - he was maybe 1/3 short of his normal allotment. Well, no matter I guess - it still is great to see some yellow on his SS. He ate a little better last night, but as always it only goes so far, then he stops. It is difficult to get in what I know he would normally eat, and should eat. We had a few muscle strength issues yesterday, but most up and abouts were a little wobbly, but OK. Paws crossed that all these meds are helping. I hope for a good day today, blues would be so cool! but... I will take a yellow day any day. Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better, be blue vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was a quiet subdued day for Mannie yesterday, lots of napping in his bed. DGS was so good with him - lots of pets and greetings. When we headed out to go to the river Nicholas once again told him: "eat Man-NIE, eat. See you later! Nicky go see fishies and river. bye bye". way too cute! All in all, Mannie seems to be hanging in there - he acts content, still does his thing the best he can. Can't ask for more than that. :-D :-D All is well in his world. Appy was so so borderline crappy this morning, as it is every morning now. LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D yes, it is normal. Mannie said so.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty for the rest of the week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas. WOO HOO! Paws crossed on the weather - we also hope for some sun, so maybe we can get outdoors some after the pool. I hope to visit condos when time permits, it is so tough to do while he is here. I will miss you guys! Think blue, think green kitties!

Hi, Michelle ~O) , glad Mannie had a relaxing day yesterday. Yellow doesn't look too bad on him; maybe he'll even don his blue suit for the OTJ party today!

Woohoo - OTJ Party! I am so there DOODE! I needs some warms - we have rain and thunder and I'sa skeered. Mamabean swept up all the cobwebs hidden in the corners so the spiders had to come out to make new webs, and I caught dem all! I have dem in a bag - I bring to the dunes and we can deep fry them with anchovy dipping sauce - dey is SOOO GOOOD that way! Get me at the back window ~ Leo

Good Morning, Michelle, That was some adventure you and Nicholas had yesterday. The fish hatchery is really an elaborate one. Beautiful pics of the fish. And the trail pics of the fungi were amazing. Glad you had such a good time. Have fun in the pool today.

Hey Mannie,

Ooooh Virgnia - isn't that close to Washington DC? Maybe we can make a quick stop and see the President! Wouldn't that be cool. We can tell him that he should have kittehs instead of a silly drooler! And then we can to the monument and skip through the reflecting pool! We can walk on water and show everyone just how great we are.

But what gives with your beegees? I thought we let you out of the kite last night and let you down and now your back up again....You're gonna have to take the smelly bus to Virgina if you don't come down, you won't be allowed in my jet with hi beegees! :o

So hurry on down will ya! We got lots to do and so little time.

Morning Michelle, ~O) sending appy and feel better vines for Mannie today. Hope he slides down this afternoon. Mannie, mega thanks on the double espressos and coffee, sooo good! The Mirtazapine hasn't helped Mannie's appy, Michelle! Mannie, we just have to get you to eat more. Maybe we need another trip to NYC for some hot dogs and NY pizza! So sweet with DGS and Mannie. Hope you both are having a great time together and DGS gets his cheeseburger. I have to take a look at the links.

485 @ +8. Well at least he isn't black anymore. Appy is till awful, as in non-existent, but I did get hm to eat a few Whiskas treats. at least it is something. He's had a few rather bad muscle strength episodes this morning, counterbalanced with a few good ones. My poor kitty.... He seems content though, curled up in his bed. Be well Mannie.

Nicholas and I made it to the pool today - and had a really great time. What a FISH he is: lots of time playing and swimming and jumping and just plain having fun. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow. I had hoped to get out for a short trail walk with him, one by the house here, but the rains have started, the winds have picked up and somehow hot chocolate sounds alot better. :-D :-D

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes on the adventure yesterday! it is a wonderful waterfall park, and very pretty! I do enjoy that fish hatchery - easy to get too, very hands on. Once when we went a few months back Nicholas was able to feed the fish - what a treat that was. Oh yes on the fungi - that log we found was incredible - covered with them, and close enough that he could touch one of them. and THX - we had a very good time in the pool - THE FISH was back at it! :-D

I was hoping Mannie would come down a little more, but the day isn't over. I'm sorry that Mannie stlll isn't interested in food.
I found the BFF that Ann and Amy talk about. I gave Checks the Chuckles. It stinks to High Heaven, of tuna..almost made me gag. Would Mannie like something that smells disgusting like that?

I'm glad Mannie and little Nicholas are such good friends....they are so adorable. cat_pet_icon

Hi Barb! ~O) ~O) ~O) many thanks. We keep on trying here. I did find the BFF - and it was the chuckles I think I bought.... He ate one bite, wouldn't touch the rest. I think I will try it again, as one day he likes something the next he doesn't, and vice versa. Right though not much is liked at all. poor guy... and yes - I remember how much it stank. :lol: :lol: THX on the BG's. I hope he does too, paws crossed, alot. -- me too on Nicholas and Mannie. It is good to see.

Mannie is doing a slow slide down today. Hopefully he'll keep sliding and give you some more yellow. Those are neat pictures form yesterday. DGS looks like he enjoys exploring outside.

HI @ PMPS :sad: Appy was downright awful. We got a few bites of some Merrick in him, at least enough to give him his shot, I hope. I didn't push the fuds too much as he was just agitated when I did, and really did not want anything to do with eating. We are still down to spoon feeding. oh boy... we shall try again in a few minutes, as I've found over the course of the past few weeks that sometimes that wll work.

Hi Deborah - many thanks! So appreciated! I keep hoping these meds will kick in soon... starting day 4 with them tonight. Mannie loves the vines - he says he can feel the warmth from them. :cool: :-D Many thanks too for all those hugs and scritches. :-D :-D

Hi Car;la - that he did! I had hopes for tonight, but alas , we have gone alpha yet again. bummer! THX on the pics! it is a very nice waterfowl north of my home. Nicholas LOVES the outdoors - rivers and waterfalls are especially appealing to him. We try and go alot during the summer, as he really does love being out in it.
