Exciting things yesterday! A new pen in the AM, a new dose in the PM. :cool: It's the little things that bring us joy... :-D :-D I don't expect the new pen to be a significant factor, as the old one was only 25 days old, and should still have been viable, new one in only because the old one was all used up... I do hope though that the new dose in the PM cycle will jump start things for Mannie, as I do believe that he had lost his momentum, after 69 cycles on the old one. We just were not getting many greens, and I think overall things needed to be brought down some. I fattened the dose from a 2.50 to a 2.50F. It was so great to have a low 212 yellow PS number this AM - WOOT! The +2 looks promising. :cool: :-D So Mannie.... what'd'ya think? a good deal? better numbers? Works for me, how about you? cat_pet_icon

Ahhhhhhh, I love morning wake-up calls.... Today it was Mannie who lured me from a deep sleep with a face full of whiskers, a cold wet nose to the check, and a soft but gentle purr. :-D Followed by a rather loud meow to the ear when I didn't move fast enough for him. :shock: Seems he was hungry. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained. Alas, still no fuds dance on video. He may have me on that one. :roll: :roll: Last night was a night for Nanners, more so than normal. Civvie Elsa had been in them - again - and ownership had to be reestablished. He spent forever doing it, eventually went spread eagle over the top of them and went to sleep. :lol: :lol: He did put me to bed last night, curling up on my feet (SWEET!), no doubt waiting to be my wake-up call. Needless to say the whole nanner process was repeated when he got upstairs and realized that, once again, nanner perimeter security had been beached. Normalcy in MannieLand, and all is well.

Have a great day everyone!! I am off later today to head into DT Seattle, to visit friends from my former employer. Miss them, sure don't miss the job.... :roll: :cool: :lol: :lol: It looks like it will be a sunny day today in Washington - YAY!! :-D :-D

That Elsa is really getting bold. Maybe you need to get more nanners, Michelle!

Hi Ella - YAY huh! It seems to be a combo, maybe: new pen, new dose, and he was flat yellow last night, so he was due for a good cycle. I really hope we can get back to the blue ps#'s, followed by the green nadirs. Ella's right Mannie - it's up to you now.... -- and too funny on the nanners. that was my thinking last Christmas, bought more for the civvies, and wow: Mannie confiscated those too. :shock: what a guy.... :lol: :lol:

Tess, that would be an affirmative on the desert and Gracie's and the patch guard duty! We will prevail... and I KNOW! we uhhhhh ate all the fuds yesterday...... OH WAIT! Cabana bean is back - maybe he will grill and stuff? maybe? oh paws crossed. OK EVERYBODY! more camping at Gracie's! Maybe we can get in some mountain hang gliding too.... ~~ Mannie ~~ oh, the nanners: I think that Elsa has learned her lesson,. she is avoiding me. :cool:

Hi Maria - :lol: yes we did have that discussion yesterday, and I did pass on your message - I'm not too convinced that he listened. :lol: :lol: :roll: He really does love those things, not very willing to share. I am still working on the photo thing. Every-time there is a Kodak moment he either stops doing whatever, or leaves altogether. :roll:

126 @ +1. I decided to fed this mini meal with a 10% MC. There's not much of a food spike, onset is coming, so hopefully the 10% will boost him up a little. We shall see if that was a good decision. paws crossed! :-D

Hi Ella - yay - finally a decent pmps. Looks like it will be a great cycle, a busy one, but welcome nonetheless. Yep,we got lucky with the weather today - the rest of the week won't be so great... oh well, it' spring in Seattle and we all expect a little drizzle. :roll:

Wow, I think Mannie likes that fattened dose; great cycle today. It looks like the mc foods boost him up just enough from dropping. I love hearing about your mornings together, and I know soon we will get that video. Have a good night and looks like you may get some rest.

Hi Ann - It does seem to be a good dose. Sure hope so! The MC foods usually do well by him when he is headed down. Huge drops almost mean HC, but the others... sometimes I can control them with a 10%. and YES on that darn video! I have two that I really would like to do: the fuds dance, and the nanner arranging and defense. I just need to catch him when he doesn't realize that I am there.... :razz:

Darn...Ann beat me to it again!! I gotta quit working so I can say this first one day: WOOT!!!! I don't know if it's the pen or the dose but he's looking great....not too fast...nice and steady. Great work!!!! Love the wake up call. Glad you got to go to town today. whoa...lots of "t's" and "g's" there :lol: :lol: :lol: So the kits are all at our place...I wrote a "little" paragraph about their antics today!

Gotta be that extra drop! I know on the shifting nadir. I love how Tess is doing on Levemir, and I know the later nadir is better for her, no more steep drops. But +7 or8 is waaaayyyyy late at night. I hope the +7.5 is you last test tonight. Ni Ni

Me too, Michelle, I hope 7.5 is your last test tonight. I like how you show the % carbs you feed for each number on Mannie's SS. Food is such a huge part of the process!

Hi Ann - I had wondered how you liked the Lev... the later nadir has to be an improvement over the +3 you had before. YAY! and yes - this +7.5 is just too late and I am glad that it doesn't happen every-night. paws crossed! I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I hope all this is due to the added drop. paws crossed there too. It's been awhile and is so nice to see.

Hi Sandy - I like that too - the carb %. I borrowed that from Susan and Lanky. I had seen it on hers, really liked having the two together, so added it to mine. I used to list it on the side, but I think this is easier to correlate between the BG and what I fed. maybe? and thanks on the rest: It has been a good night for him.
