Happy Caturday, LL!
Yesterday: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=117039
Thanks again for visiting us yesterday and cheering us on. I really appreciate the support. Like I said yesterday, it brings me to tears. Sarcasm, I can handle. Kindness...not so much! I'll try not to get teary-eyed today, but I make no promises! ;-)
Day 2 of our OTJ trial started out purrfect.....numbers wise. Jersey has decided that she wants to be Dr. Jekyll this morning, though. She growled civie Chappy and then started licking her lips as she pawed at the sliding glass door. She often does this when she sees something out the window that she would like to attack....most often outdoor civie Nona. :YMSIGH: Since I didn't see Nona, I let Jersey loose to stalk other poor defenseless creatures. I just saw her skulking across the yard a moment ago. I have to chuckle. She thinks she's a hunter, but I've never seen her catch anything other than a moth. I just don't have the heart to tell her she's a lousy hunter.
DH has passed his cold along to me. I welcomed in the day with a headache, sore throat, and cough. Blech. I think I'm still going to force myself to get out and do something fun with DH today. We haven't done much of that lately. Besides, if I stay home, I'm going to want to poke the cat. I didn't realize I would go through pokey withdrawals like this! That warning should be a part of the OTJ trial instructions.
My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Rachel. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
Thoughts and prayers are also en route to all of the kitties and beans on the board. My wish is that you all have a wonderful day full of safe green numbers, happy appys, good poos, and purrs.
Shelly
