Yesterday I bought my first pen and I'm having lots of problem drawing insulin without HUGE bubbles. I was using the same technique than I was using with the vial, but it isnt working. Please help.

There was a discussion about defective Solostar pens on the board yesterday. Maybe you got one of the bad ones. Here's the link:

If you think your pen is bad, perhaps you should try to exchange it.

I turn the plunger around several times and squeeze it in completely before putting it inside the turned upside down vial then draw the insulin.

I will try to see if I can exchange it.

What pressure thingy? I don't know about a pressure thingy. Hmmmmmm :lol: How did I not know about this pressure thingy? I used to get bubbles but would just draw more than I needed, flick the syringe and then push them out the top. Don't feel bad Natalia, I'm obviously right there with ya.

The button at the end of the pen, next to the dial...I'm so confused!!

I did always wonder what that dial at the end was for but never really paid attention to that side of the pen. :? :roll: :? I hope you get the bubble situation figured out. I could never seem to get them all out no matter how hard I flicked that syringe.
