Alex seems to be feeling okay today although it's no longer good enough for me to go by what seems to be, I guess I won't ever be able to use the words happy and 'healthy' again for Alex but at least when he's had his echo I'll be able to say happy and doing the best I can to keep him as healthy as humanly possible for as long as..well he same  I got myself all in a tizzy last night because I thought he was meat-loafing a lot. Then I looked it up and realized that meatloaf position is when all paws are underneath and Alex wasn't meat-loafing at all...his front paws were out in front of him and OH MAN what am I doing, looking for more things to be upset about? ohmygod_smile

Anyway, Alex ate 1 1/2 bowls of breffis this morning (Jackson too---they just LOVE FF turkey mixed with Evo 95% chicken and turkey), all p's are in order and Alex is taking his after breffis snooze on the window sill.

It is his and Jackson's 13th birthday on Thursday and he is probably already thinking about the big birthday feast which will not be interrupted by diabetes as it happens to be on the 'diet' :-D , and I have hidden their gifts but they know they're here! I love their birthday week ♥ (I don't get how it comes around so fast every year, yet I never seem to age at all) ;-)

Morning everyone! ~O)

awwww good morning guys!

Glad that he wasn't meatloafing last night and was relaxing instead....

Yeah he was sitting with his paws out in front of him...like the Sphinx. Like he sits for his ear pricks. I sit on the floor with my legs in a V and he backs in. I sometimes he just stays there when I'm done. I never notices that before but now I'm crazy.

We were thinking about you and Alex all weekend. Now that I can see all your posts, I can see why. I hope that both of you can relax and feel good for a little while! We will continue to keep you in our thoughts. Have a very happy birthday week! :-D

Thanks for the help on Saturday Caryl! It was just so weird to not be able to see Max myself--I think I was more worried about him than I was about my daughter (but then again, I know DH knows how to take care of her...it's the cats he's more hands-off about!).
