Harley went into the vets 4/9 for some yucky eye drainage he all of a sudden started having. He got a full look over and exam. No scratches or ulcers. It was dx'ed as conjunctivitis from possible seasonal allergies. He was prescribed an eye drop antibiotic mixed with steroids. Now I know in a human steroids completely wreak havoc on them for extreme highs. Same with a cat? and in eye drop form?
His bgs were doing great, and ever since the day he got the eye gunk, the next day taken to
the vets, he has not dropped out of the high 300s. I am going to up his dose again tonight, to 3u. Just weird that he was having such decent BGs finally that we were lowering and then bang, frozen in the 300s now.
