Upward we go, yet another dose increase and waiting out the NDW. Hopefully the end in sight sometime soon. Momma bean getting depressed seeing all this ugly colour and wondering if there is another underlying cause of the need for higher amounts of insulin.

I was going to wait another day for the dose increase due to my schedule but I was encouraged to do it sooner and the ugly black AMPS made me want to do something about it. Who ever thought pink would look good. Paws crossed. Neko is currently grooming her white paws. i hope that means she is going to stay away from black for a while.

Given that Neko's numbers are coming down, I don't think this is NDW.

FWIW, in the future, when there's a bounce, you want to wait for the bounce to clear before increasing the dose. Neko was in the blues on 4/9. It can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear.

Thanks Sienne. I'm a bit confused. I had advise after last nights black number that I should increase today and your advice is that I should have held. Should I go back to the previous dose or stick it out at the new dose for tonights dose?
 
Good choice, once you've done it it is best to be consistent. Glad to see no black tonight :smile:
