Well yuck on that +4! ohmygod_smile Neko got a dosecrease this morning and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. This dose was definitely going stale, so onward and upward. DH and I are going to the island to visit my parents today - I have to do my father's taxes. Ugh! But at least I know Neko will be safe today. Thank goodness for a late Levemir nadir and high start.

I'm keeping Rachel close in my heart today - she loved her sweet Chyna doll so much.

Permission slip granted. :-x Ugh on the taxes! Will you come to Flagstaff and do ours? We're easier to get to than the island. :lol: :lol:

Tell Neko not to copy Max. Pink may be a pretty color but not on a ss. I think she wanted to let you do what you need to do without worrying.

I hope you were able to enjoy your visit with your parents - even if it meant doing taxes!

The taxes took a little longer than I wanted so ended up getting a ferry an hour later, but Neko was safe. After belated afternoon snack she went outside with me for a while. The neighbour started up the week trimmer and Neko proved she can still run. :lol: I let her in downstairs and she consoled herself by hugging her air compressor tire friend. I'm gonna have to get a name for him. :lol:

@Liz - Darn Heartbleed virus makes taxes even worse. :evil: I was gonna try out an on line application this year but the feds have closed their e-file system temporarily. So I had to do things manually. Ugh!!

@Catherine - Pink definitely says "I'll be fine". :roll:

@Carla - Gonna have to wait on that blues and greens due to the fur shot. Argh!

@Ella - No surprises from Neko. Taxes are DONE! Ours go to an accountant.

@Elise - I think we may be getting even more pink tonight. :roll:

@Shelly - Dosecrease will eventually work. Visit was good, but didn't get a chance to go outside. Taxes took all afternoon.

Devon used to tell us about Mocha's special friend - her humidifier. :lol: Mocha loved that humidifier. she had a name for it too, something like "Hoomie" but i don't remember exactly. i enjoyed the stories, though!

you're a good daughter to do your dad's taxes. my husband did my dad's for the 4 years he lived after my mom died. i thought that was pretty heroic of him! taxes can be a pain in the neck - i don't know if Canadian taxes are as ridiculous as US tax forms, but ours are pretty fun! :lol:

Oh flip! I have completely forgotten about tax time! I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend :roll:

Love that Neko has found a new friend "Tire". :lol: Cats find pleasure in the strangest things. We had taken in a stray cat when I was a kid and she found a PENCIL. Good lord, you would have thought she was being tortured by the sounds she was making :lol: And from that day on, it was her personal goal to create an army of pencils...none were safe if left alone! She even went as far as to stash them where my Mom couldn't reach them (under some concrete stairs), and she would lay in there with her treasures and purr up a storm :lol:

Work that dosecrease Neko! Show that juse who's boss!

@Shelly, Julie, Kim - "Tire" friend comes attached to an 80 lb air compressor. He's staying downstairs. :lol: I started doing my DFs taxes in my late teens when I lived at home. Then there was a gap for a long time, then I started up again about 10 years ago. He hates doing them, can't blame him. Makes DM's live miserable, so I'm doing it for her. She still does her own. Fortunately his are pretty simple, but I think the government conspires to make this as difficult as possible and the forms have slight changes every year. :twisted:
