Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was AWESOME! and very very busy... We had a back to back pool day, as my MIL could not take William on FR, due to a change this week in her work schedule. Today was open, and I took it. Nicholas handled back to back heavy duet energizer fishies swim days well. He was tired though after today, we we toned the rest of the day down some, only did one park, and made sure he made it home for a short nap. ;-) We are all excited here: the weeks weather report says we are due for sunny 68/75 weather for a week to come. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "I hope your day has been a good one, ours day has been great! We made it to 62 today, and the afternoon was sunny, so none of us really minded much. What an awesome day. It looks like we will have a week coming up of 65+ weather, WOOT WOOT, can I believe that? I sure hope so. Day was great. Nicholas had another fun day in the pool. We closed out the session today, back to the old routine. Energizer fishie rules! :-D It was fun though, and per the norm he did all that he could think of to do. His latest thing is to swim from one side of the big pool to the other and then back again, usually under water. No comment on the form, but who cares at this point of the game. He's so proud of himself when he can make it all the way across without any help. Still won't take that bloody swim test,  Shesshhhh! Well anyways on that, it still was a great day in the pool. Spent some time at my DMIL Connie after that, then stopped in at what is a new park for the boys: Meadowdale Park (btw: not the same place that I hike t the shore). Trails there, green meadows, no water, and lots of play equipment including a glide line. They had a ton of fun with that - it's a nice park. Another one where we were home late. In the door at 3, out again at 3:30 to drop off the boys. Back at it again tomorrow. "

Nick's Pics still continue. I really enjoy this. He asks if he can take some, and there is no way I will say no. I hand him my camera, show him how to take a photo and let him have at it. It is a little hard for him sometimes to hold the camera and release the shutter and keep his fingers out of the way of the lens, but I think he does darn well for a 3yr old. It is interesting what he chooses to take photos of. Yesterday it was familiar things he saw as we waited for a family change room, and then texture things while we were at Connie's. We both noticed he was putting he camera really close to some of the things and when asked why he says "to see what it really looks like and feels like". wow: texture! So here ya go.... from yesterday Nick's Pics

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... again.... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Good Kitties! Once again Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Quiet rules here this morning. I have written this so many times, but it still holds true: the mornings here are my some of my favorite times with the kitties. We all had a great day yesterday - even the kitties. They have been extra cuddly, and extra good. Almost too good. Lola spent some time with William. Bug and Elsa remain aloof... well, they watch from a distance.   yesterday Lola was busy being Lola, add running amuck as she always does. She stopped very suddenly mid run, in the middle of the kitchen floor and began chasing her tail, circle after circle. Funny - saw this last week too, a new thing then for her. WHERE WAS MY CAMERA???? oh yes.... in the charger... again.... That was hysterical. She just kept doing it, would grab it at times, and chew on it. :? :?   Crazy cat! Normalcy in MusketeerVille! well sorta... :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. The weather should be great, with lots f sun by afternoon. I hope we can get out to a river, as it has been a while since we have been able to go, and Nicholas has been asking. We will not swim tonight, nor have our burger fest, as Nicholas William and mom and dad are off to a Mariners Game. Lucky them! I will try and get to condos when I can. Sorry that I keep missing so many of you.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 4/11 LOOSE LIPS: energizer fishies and grammie's and par

It looks like the boys liked the park yesterday. I hope you get out somewhere fun today. I love hearing about Lola chasing her tail. I wonder why only some kitties do that?

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one with great weather. We did OK here, sunny by late afternoon, with what should be a great sunset. I think me made 69 here today. of course it wasn't that nice at the river where we were at, but it as doable. Not much sun at all when we were there. There were no rains, so good to go. we did well. We ended up just east of Gold Bar at Big Eddy, on the Skykomish River. It is a fav place of Nicholas, and easy to get too when the other snow bound places are not. It was a little cool there, not the 55 they said, but it was OK anyways. It was a nice laid back fun but mellow time on the river. We spent the morning there, made it home in time for the boys to get in that nap they needed so they could last though the Mariners baseball game tonight. The river was running really high today, but we still had lots of sandy areas in which to let the boys go at it. Funny but Nicholas still calls that portion of the river the stinky fish river - from the time we went in the fall after the salmon run and we found all the dead ones up on the backs. Funny how some names stick. Berry plants are just starting to make their flowers, so it will be a while before they come into being. Nicholas was looking everywhere for the ones he knew. They have alot of thimbleberries there too, in addition to the ever present salmonberries. We waded in the river some, threw the obligatory rocks and sticks, played in the sand, Great time there today. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrows condo.

Hi Devon - thanks for the visit. We had a great one yesterday - fun times. The new park was good. Nicholas even arsed if we could go back there today. It is nice to see these warmer temps, isn't it? I am glad you guys are too.

Hi Carla - They did! It is a nice one, lots of things for the younger kids to play on. We did get today too - a river, which was GREAT! I know on the tail chasing Lola is the only kitty I have had that has done that. She doesn't do it often, but it cracks me up when she does.
