Apologies for not posting- the weekend blew up on us, my mom ended up in the hospital in Long Island, which is 3 hours from my house. Jack's care got relegated to a combination of my ex-husband and neighbor across the street and then early this morning on the way home I was in a car accident that resulted in the death of a poor white-tailed deer. My brain hurts, I can't think straight, but Jack seems to have held his own with BG and diet, as well as ketones. Stuck with the 6.5 units because that was the safest course of action. The neighbor left some kibble out yesterday due to nerves and not being entirely comfortable with testing and luckily Jack didn't eat too much of it (miracle of miracles) because this morning we had 213 and 0.2 ketones. I'm looking forward to a hopefully quiet day.
