Good morning LL! Sending healing vines to all our ill kitties and their beans and their bean's families (Claudia's mom).

Gracie is doing fabulous today. She was headed up last night slowly so I took advantage of it and we all went to bed early and got a good night's sleep. I am ecstatic to see her doing so well this morning and am hoping for another beautiful cycle like yesterday where it was min carbs. I think she is not going to be so happy when the granite dudes get here (within the next half hour) as I will probably sequester she and Tobey.

What a great time these kitties are having out in the backyard camping out. They stoked up a fire in the fireplace and are making FD friendly samores and singing Kumbaya, holding paws, and swaying to the song. They've built a protective tent over the catnip patch but none can work there very long without succumbing to the effects of sniffing catnip At least they are not running back and forth in the house to use the bathroom :lol: :lol: :lol: Rusty and Willie have fired up the gas grill and are cooking Costco hot dogs much to Gracie's chagrin. Mannie and Attie are setting up the food tables with the MREs that Attie brought (thank you Beth and Attie). Maggie, Tess, Muffin, and Gracie are sunning themselves on miniature chaise lounges by the catnip. Binks is trying to smoke the catnip :lol: :lol: Chaos, Choco, Tessie Lou, Moonie, Raja, and Shadow are just chillaxin and drinking niptecates. Checkers is supervising and giving his best "I MEAN BUSINESS" face to the contractors.

Gotta run...it's going to be hectic here with the granite dudes doing the templates and trying to test Gracie; I'm hoping I can get all her breffis's in her before they come. Sorry...no time to do condos. Have an awesome day and I'll catch up later..I hope!!

Good luck today, Marjorie! I've got an air conditioner guy here right now, and both kitties are sensibly holed up in the bedroom upstairs. With this changeable weather (85 here yesterday, 50s today), I've got to make sure the air is working properly!

Sounds like the kits are having a blast. Leave it to Mannie, Willie and the gang to find a great excuse to par-tay! :lol: :lol: Wonder what the pool guys would think if you told them about the "presence" of our little gang of super-heros! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Wonderful to see Gracie having such nice green cycles! Sounds like the kitties are all having a great time - I'd wondered where Muffin had gone off to...

Hey Sandy, Devon: yes...I'm so happy with her cycles lately; minimal bounces anti jinx and minimal carbs. The granite dudes are here and oh the noise taking out the corian!! Gracie and Tobey are sitting right inside the master bdrm door...do not seem to be affected at all and the older civvies are curled up on the bed asleep.

Anne: glad you are back safely. Muffin is here and the kitties are all so glad to see her. She's having a great time!!

Sounds like chaos there, but the good kind. I hope it all goes well. It can be such a hassle and a mess and a bunch of noise, but the end result is always good. Sounds like Tobey and Gracie are handling it well. Good luck with it all.

Gracie's doing wonderful on this dose and hope she keeps on truckin or surfing with it! Ah, so sweet hearing all the socializing of the kitties today.

Marjorie, thank you so much for having Checkers at the campout, as his mama wasn't feeling so :-D hot and didn't feel like playing with him. Hug to you.

Yup, Gracie means business today. She really showed those pool guys what's what! Great pool party (er, I mean catnip-guarding detail) today, Miss Marjorie. Thanks for inviting us over. We'll be staying a while longer. We don't want the corian to wind up in the catnip bed.

This is the kind of day that would have driven Mike crazy :lol: :lol: He's always been the one to be here when the contractors are here so I PROMISED that this time, I would be. The guys were great making the templates and put my corian counters back on temporarily so our kitchen is full up; should be about two weeks to get the granite fabricated. The cats all did WONDERFUL!! Gracie was very laid back and spent the day in one of her favorite places....in our closet in the built in chest where she made a fine nest right in the middle of all my swimsuits. I just went in, got her, tested her, put her back. She did not seem in the least concerned. Even Tobey, who's never been sequestered, did really great.

Celi: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I had to watch "de Binks" ALL DAY LONG!! The pool deck dudes wanted to know why it was in the contract that they could not smoke on the property but the "cat with no tail" was puffing away :lol:

Christie: Gracie so appreciated Willie bringing the "finer" dogs and she loves sliders!

Ann: the girls are back at it!!

Michelle: yes....I'm so happy with her cycles...just a tiny bit of intervention early on and that was it. Ecstatic!!

Ann and Patty: paws crossed she will continue to like this dose. Maggie seemed to have a great day today and Champ was very laid back enjoying the sun.

Barb: No worries, my friend...he was SO GOOD!!! Hope you are feeling better.

Ella: thanks for sending Rusty over to make sure the granite dudes didn't put the corian in the catnip...never thought of that! :lol:

Claudia: thanks for stopping by...I know you have alot on your plate. Sure hope Mom gets home soon!

Time to do squids for the civvies and then Gracie and then DIN DIN. Mike home tonight!! YIPPEE!!!

Mike's car had a dead battery at the airport so I am up late waiting for him. I think I messed up her surf. When I got the +3 of 69....which is usually her onset...I gave her a little bit of gravy so he wouldn't come home to a 50 when he's so tired. BUMMER!!! I really didn't want to carb her because I don't want her bouncing. And it was a tiny bit so she probably wasn't going to drop after all. I have to get used to her new patterns...and do like Ann w/Tess..LC. I doubt she'll come back down tonight.

Mike just walked in so I am headed to bed. He'll be checking in. Ni Ni from me.

:lol: Oh congratulations! And I didn't even get to be your sponsor. Yes, only three meters means the intervention worked fast for you. I saw that post with a link from Sienne on meters and will need to take a look, but I also only have three meters!! Nobody quite believes I'm meter sober yet! :lol:

About the carbing, I make that same mistake with Maggie when I should just use lc, but I get nervous and don't want her to drop. Yay, Gracie is doing so well on this dose.
