4.5 =97....we might actually be closer to 5 but let's call is 4.5.

I'd say she hasn't eaten anything in over an hour. Her bg is on the rise but she also hasn't peaked from the insulin. Should I re-test in an hour? It sounds like I should lay off the food?!

Is this going to be an all night event? ohmygod_smile

I'd give her an hour. Cats can nadir at different times....some nadir before +6. Their nadirs can also change OR she might be deciding to start an early bounce from the low numbers. We don't know yet. If she's hungry, you can feed her. If she's not, just leave her be and test in an hour.

Hard to say whether this number is food influenced and will wear off......it's not typical to see LC wear off and drop kitty dramatically back down but never say never :-D

See you in an hour unless you have questions. You might want to set an alarm and see if you can sleep one hour.

I thought her nadir was between 7 and 8...
I hope she doesn't bounce:)

I don't think you have quite enough data to tell exactly where her nadir is. And, like I said, it can change even from cycle to cycle.

Marjorie...I think I kinda messed up on keeping track of her times by doing tests and feeding every half an hour. her PMPS was at 6:10om which would mean that her +6 was coming up after midnight. Does this mess things up for the data that I collected? Shall I just wait until +6 to do the test? It's half an hour away.
or would you rather a 5.5? I can test in about 10.

Why don't you just test her at midnight and call it +6? I'll be here waiting.

excellent job! don't panic! I've been exactly where you are a few times now with Rupert, and it gets easier every time... and it's all good! You are going a great job! Nice surfing Ella!!!!!!!!! it looks like shes on an upward trend now.

If you haven't fed in a while, I bet she's starting a bounce.

What would make you feel more comfortable....just going to bed or waking up in a couple hours for a test?

I'll probably wake up and test one more time. What hour do you think I should do?
going to set my alarm for 2:00am...an hour and a half. Not sure if still up at 11:00pm but if you are we'll be here:)

Sounds good. Normally I am up until 3 your time but I worked today so I've been up since 5:30 and usually go to bed about 10 or so. Julie may be up but I think you'll find Ella higher.
