I didn't think it would be too bad today without the R, but it has been... showing me that the R, even though it is short-acting, influences at least one cycle after you give it. There could also be an element of bounce in there. First I'd try reducing R if 200 or above, not eliminating it. The R gives the Levemir a better to work with.
