Happy Caturday to all,

Crystal's numbers still stuck in the pinks so gave 2uR this morning. Have a feeling it might not be enough as this is her highest AMPS that I have used R with but we will see. Have to nip out shortly for some shopping but will be back before any real effect is seen. Wet and cold here, what happened to Spring?

Paws crossed the R makes a difference and breaks her out of her pink funk. Enjoy your Saturday. We are losing our spring weather this weekend too. :(
 
Hi Wendy, Sienne and Peg, thanks for "lurking", but not too much to report. Crystal's +5.25 was 274, so she's coming down in yellow and seems well, eating okay, out and about but don't think she will drop into blue, sigh. But good data for next time, maybe tomorrow. Just as well I choose to give R with AM dose as "distraught friend with cheating husband" is on her way over and will probably stay over ...... tea and sympathy to be dispensed in large doses. Cross that out, wine in large quantities I would think..... and I was hoping for a quiet night of snuggles with Crystal and a good film on TV. oh well, that's what friends are for.
 
Thanks for looking in Bron. I have a headache. Friend gone, peace returns. At least I will get my quiet night now and hopefully some Crystal cuddles. Crystal's +11 was 263 so she has come down from 349, where would she have been without the R? If she is at this PS number again, what would be the dose next time? perhaps 2.5u or is that too much? any comments from experienced R members gratefully received. Hope you are all having a peaceful and relaxing weekend and that the sun is shining.
 
Can't help with the R advice, just sending lots of vines for your friend and you. Yes, headache inducing situation.

Crystal, cuddle nice. The bean needs that.

Yikes! Sounds like you have your hands full, Suki!

Crystal is holding her own. Always best to play it safe when you've got a difficult situation to deal with.
 
Thanks Marilyn and Suzanne for your kind vines. DH and I are sitting on the patio counting our blessings.... such a shame when people you care for mess up their lives. When things get tough, cuddle your cat!

Suzanne, any thoughts on proposed future doses of R for Crystal as 2u at 350 didn't work well enough? What do you think?
 
I think you're doing pretty well with the R dosing. If you want her to go lower, you can try small incremental increases and see what happens.

Looking at the last 4 times you used R:
4/6 amps 324, 1.5uR dropped her 56 points by +5 and then the Lev onset.
4/8 amps 259 1.5uR dropped her 81 points by +5
4/9 amps 328 2.0uR dropped her 108 points by +5
4/10 amps 349 2.0uR dropped her 76 points by +5

I think you could try 2.5u on ps over 300 now and see how she does. It's a bit tricky with her because sometimes she slides down continually through the cycle, but at least she never dives and you could intervene relatively early if you think she's headed too low.

That's my 2 cents worth, anyway.
 
@julie & punkin (ga) , I like your 2 cents worth Julie, I think I will carry on with the AM dosing as I appreciate not having to stay up all night keeping a beady eye on her, just not consistent in how she reacts. Thanks for the dose recommendation,might be out tomorrow morning, if not will go with Monday.
 
I would offer the same advice as Julie, but am always interested in Sandy's take as well.

You could also try 2.5uR if Crystal is over, say, 325, and stick with 2uR for PSes between 300-325.
