Good Morning LL

Checkerboy woke me at +10, with the cutest crying noise. It's kind of raspy, sweet, and pathetic; so different from the demanding sound, he normally makes from the sink counter.
I thought he must be near hypo, to be so nice in the morning. nailbite_smile

Nope....but he was 92, and wanted mama to know about it :lol: Of course, he turned up his nose at the Chicken FF, and went to bathroom sink, this time yelling for faucet turn-on.

I called him a bad word, then tried to nap on the couch for a little while. He came and walked up and down, on me, which was soooo nice, as he rarely comes looking for lovin'. cat_pet_icon

It's nasty looking, dark and dreary again....and just starting to rain. Phooey, I wanna go get some BFF fuds. Already have magnifying glass in my purse to read labels.

Very nice numbers for sweet Checkers today! I hope you're able to get out for BFF...I think those storms are supposed to hit here tonight. Spring is here!

Barb, you have always have some news in your condo that gives me a laugh, the part about calling Checks a bad word :lol: and then Checkers coming over for some loving. You could write a book on you and Checkers. He is a character, and I just love him.
I guess that 92 was a warning of what's to come next with the 57!! I hope he gives a nice safe surf, and yu are still able to get out, magnifying glass intact.

Can i ditto what Ann said??!!! the only diff is that i have reading glasses in my purse, glove box, dashboard, in ollie's testing kit and most any horizontal surface.

Hmmm, did I already say "yikes"? Guess I should not have waited another hour to test again.

So I panicked, as I always do, when he hits the 30's, and over carbed.
The trip to fuds store is going to have to wait another day, it seems.
Yay, I can get away from .75 and do a nice easy 0.5 now.

Ann, Checks makes me laugh every day. He can make me so angry, and can also make my face hurt from laughing.
So many times, I want to tell something funny he does, but don't think this is the appropriate place, if I can't make it short.

Mary, I also have reading glasses in every spot I spend time in. Recliner, couch, bird room, bedroom, computer room, screen porch and shed in summer. :lol: Hanging them around my neck never worked for me.

Maybe the extra carbs wil give you a chance to get out for fuds after all. :roll: I hope you can get any errands donebefore the storm gets bad.

Doesn't look like I can get to BFF store today, as it's a half hour one way.
I gave Checks a tablespoon of Gravy Lovers at this 83, thinking I can keep him surfing green or low blue.

So then comes Clancy, wanting some yummies too. "Okay Clancy, here's a blob for you too".

Didn't Checkers push his face into Clancy's bowl, lap up the gravy, and go back to his own :lol:
Now Clancy is next to me, eating Tux's Friskies. Musical food bowls. :lol:

I'm desperate for sleep. I'm sure Checks will be fine for an hour.

Got an hour nap and woke to a 51....I'm so bad at predicting Lev.

Hmm, I have 2 cans of gravy food left.....he better not go any lower. I have enough trouble getting him to eat normal food, so putting Karo on it, isn't going to be too yummy to him.

He's supposed to start rising at this time, not falling.
Okay, will test at +9...maybe give HC....race out to grocery store, 10 miles......race back with more HC fuds, in case he drops during PM :YMSIGH:

Yay, got back in an hour, even stopping at pharmacy. Got lots of gravy fuds..... bring on the pj party! :lol:
It's getting close to shot time, hour and a half
I'm reducing by .25u, because of the 35 today....it was lower on a different meter, but the number is too scary to post. :roll:
I hope the reduction will keep him in safe numbers tonight.

Came home to a pile of barf, thankfully on a throw rug......thanks Clancy!! What a waste of Gravy Lovers. grr_red

Whoa Checkers, my goodness! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Congrats on the reducie, Barb. I guess that raspy sweet voice was a signal of what's to come for the day! Now you've got me curious as to the reading on other meter. Glad you got out for some gravy for Checkers. Did you get yourself some chocolate ice cream or chocolate? :-D
