...and we have our typical +2 fuds spike. That's OK...with the show this weekend, it gives me one less thing to worry about. She's feeling awesome and feisty and radiant this morning.
Of course, though, there has to be something to worry about. Civvie Zen has pretty much no appy  . His demeanor, posture, and behavior are all appear to be perfectly normal - he's not meatloafing; he's social and outgoing and asking for attention and purring; he's not vomiting or frequenting the box. But late last evening I realized he only ate a small amount of his dinner - the eat in "installments" over the course of the evening, and after his first round, he didn't ask for any more. He didn't want to eat late last evening, either, and he was doing a little lip smacking when I offered him food, so obviously his tummy was bothering him. Today, he didn't smack when I offered food, and he actually did ASK for food a couple times, but so far the only thing he's actually eaten was a couple Greenies. Since he seems more interested today, I'm hoping that whatever this is is working out of his system quickly. Since I will be gone for over 12 hours tomorrow and can't keep tabs on him, I may haul him off to the vet tonight if he still doesn't want anything later today. He HAS had this happen a couple times before, and it has always been short-lived. Not that it is ever a good time for our babies to not feel well, but this is particularly bad timing.
Sending extra strong prayers out to Chyna and Cinco this morning...
I'm going to go hang out with Zen until I have to get ready for work....have a great day, LL.
