Hi everybody. Haven't been around much. I hope everybody is doing well.
Tori's Numbers Today: AMPS 259; +6~ 79; PMPS 315
She's had a bit of a bounce here but that is pretty typical for my little girl. She loves jumping rope. It help her keep her girlish figure I guess. Her numbers haven't been all that I like lately but a large part of that was my fault. I didn't notice that it had been ages since I changed her cartridge. Jojo if you read this I freely admit I deserve a swat with a wet noodle for that one. I changed it on the 4th and things are gradually improving.
WCR- She's been feeling pretty good, Her arthritis hasn't been bothering her quite as much. She's getting up and down stairs much better. I still haven't got into the vets. To be honest I've been concentrating m ore on my son's health the last couple of weeks taking him for tests and appointments. I'll be updating that in Community probably tomorrow as I have to go to work soon. Anyway back to Tori. Her appetite is good and she fur is quite lustrous and most importantly she's happy and content except when one of the boys gets out of line and she has to put them back in their place as only she can do. They are in awe of her.
It seems we have a new member of Team Tori. My 3 year old grand daughter Ayanna has become absolutely fascinated with Tori's BG testing. So fascinated that the other day she decided to get actively involved. My son has that habit of leaving the glucometer on the kitchen table after he has tested Tori . I woke up to a kitty meowing in the kitchen. It was Tori which is unusual as usually very quiet. I went to investigate and there was Ayanna holding Tori in her lap. She had a strip in the meter and was just about to poke Tori's ear. Fortunately she hadn't taken the top off the lancet. Poor Tori looked terrified. Needless to say I had a little talk with Ayanna and told her that only Nanna and Uncle Daniel test Tori and Daniel no longer leaves the meter lying around.
I hope everybody is doing well. Give all your furbabies a kiss for me.
