WCR: I swear these mini meals are making him want more food. Sure, we're in the early stages and his body is getting used to eating more frequently, but smaller meals, but I'm not sure this guy could ever get full. :lol: Looks like the new feeder did the trick last night. The dish was empty this morning...his number where I wanted it...we are going to assume it was him that ate the food in the dish. FYI - the timed feeder is next to his bed. He's feeling great this morning. Very vocal. Purrs. Maybe he knows the sunshine and warmer weather are back for the day.

I'm going to try to do the btb thing.

But I could have sworn Max told Six to try for "in the bed".
That's what he gets sometimes so be on the lookout.
I hope the minimeals work for him. That is what I do for Max and the feeder is amazing.

Six has a nice surf going on this morning. Checked him again at 3.5 since I was planning on feeding him a snack...as suspected, he wasn't going anywhere, just surfin'.

Still a little too chilly to go out yet, but he will, he will.

Lookin' good, Six! Guess he likes all those little meals. Stu "accepted" his auto feeder last night, too. I'm really glad that our boys are doing well.

You gave me an excellent idea! I haven't ordered the auto feeder for Checkers yet, because I didn't know how I could keep his little piggy brother from eating the food.
There is a high dresser that only Checkers goes up on. Perfect place for feeder. If I set the timer to ding when the dish is going to open,he will hear it from his daytime sleeping place.....Oh cool, thanks. :-D

All this talk of mini meals makes me hungry. We have two auto-feeders for my kitties and I have two autofeeders for me... they are called hands and I wish I could take the batteries out of those auto-feeders. :lol:

Two things...Six went outside to hangout on the deck after his +8 check/8.5 snack. And his 8.5 snack!!!!!

I feel like I just discovered sliced bread or something. I'm not kicking myself over it, but month after month of reading about the power of snacks and I just never tried it...didn't think I could pull it off in a multi-cat household. If my spring break hadn't come around, I don't know if I would have tried it until summer.
