Good morning all,

WCR: appy is ok this morning. I'm still shocked over her appy from yesterday...she ate ~4oz during the day and another 2.2oz last night. Problem...she hasn't pooped since Monday and even that was a tiny amount. :shock: I got some good purrs this morning; open mouthed breathing w/ purrs attached! Not much in the mood for play; same with preening. 1 pee over night and 1 pee this morning. She's still limping, but she does put weight on it and she's still jumping up and down. She has a history of giving me a fright (usually once a year) by limping. Not sure what to make of that. Otherwise, her mood is still strange. She was lovey, rubby, sweet when I first got up and now she's in her staring/vacant mood. @-)

WHR: not much change. My back is starting to hurt a little...again. I know I keep agitating my back by the amount of bending I do. I have become very aware of how much of my life is waist height and below...everything that has to do w/ Shasta! (e.g. Putting down/picking up her bowls, picking her up for pokes & shots, nuzzling her, etc.) I'm trying my best to squat, but there is only so low my knees will take me! :roll: My back brace is great...until I sit down and then it ends up around my boobs (slight exaggeration). Frustrated!

Ok, off to fix the hair and get to work. Sweet blessings to all the kitties and their beans.

Nice start for Shasta this morning. Hopefully she'll have a good poo soon so she doesn't get stopped up. I hope she is in a better mood when you get home and her limping gets better. Sorry your back is starting to hurt again. Maybe they can get your second shot in sooner. It is amazing how much we use our backs and don't realize it until our back hurts.

Hi Carla, it was a nice start for Shasta this morning. I wasn't expecting that blue amps...especially after her 240 at +4.5 last night. I thought for certain she'd be high yellows. Strange things are going on with her. @-) Tonight will be a rushy, rushy night...I have a rehearsal until 5pm; rush home to poke, shoot, feed by 5:30 (15 minutes early); pray she eats well; rush to chiropractor appointment at 5:50; grocery store & quick deposit at bank; home! I have chicken in my refrigerator that I think needs to be cooked now (if it hasn't already expired), but I don't feel like cooking tonight. Should have done it last night. I hate when I do this to myself. :lol: :? As for trying to get the injection earlier, they tried to work me in for tomorrow, but I don't have a ride. My friend is going out of town tomorrow, so Monday is my first availability. :-| Oh well. I'll deal. Maybe I should start laying down and rolling everywhere...that way I'm closer to all of Shasta's stuff and her. :razz: :lol:

Sorry to hear about your back, sending vines your way! I make Kismet come up to my height for tests. He gets tested either on his tower or on our bed. I can't deal with bending over or sitting on the floor, so we meet in the middle

I love that you keep tally of Shasta's bathroom score :lol: Sending lots of poo vines to her... hope she has a report for the poo detective later.

Hi Courtney,

Shasta's favorite way to get ready for her pokes is to stretch and then fall on the floor to finish her stretch. So I have to scoop her up off the floor...it's just too darn cute! She does this 70% of the time; 15% of the time she just rubs on my legs and her carrier; 15% of the time she'll jump up on the ottoman and crawl onto my lap. The ottoman is the preferred spot because I have a great lamp over there.

As for her bathroom tally, if I don't write it down, all the days run together and I'll forget when the last time she pooped. Me and numbers aren't friends. :? :lol: She had a good poo in her LB when I got home tonight. I still think there's plenty of poo inside of her, but at least she got lots out. I wonder if her anal sac expression helped last night?! :shock:
