hi helen! she could still be experiencing New Dose Wonkiness - do you need the link to read about that or do you know about it already? it can last up to 3 days after the dose increase. hopefully she's going to settle down any moment now. i know you're going to feel better when she does!

Yes, Julie, Ive read that it may take up to 6 cycles for the new dose to sink in but the waiting with uncertainty is killing.
I feel as if Rosy's punishing me for doing all this... :sad: Hope she can get down, maybe a little bit?

remind yourself that you are saving her life. if you weren't giving her insulin, how high would rosy be?

she needs insulin - it's too bad that there are all these weird things with cats and the insulin, but it's just part of what you have to go through. cats are hard to get regulated. i hope this is going to be a good dose for her and she'll settle into it.

Thanks Julie! Yes, why are the cats so difficult to get regulated? We've restricted all their food intake already.

At least I know she is responding to that increase. But I dont understand how come she is so bouncy with her bg.

Good girl Rosy showing Helen some green but I think she's going to show her bouncing skills again from that fast drop, hold onto your hat!

That was a fast drop Rosy. You into diving, little girl? Hopefully, fingers crossed, the bounce won't be so high.

Thanks Serryn & Dyana for your visit! How to teach a kitty to walk instead of jumping around? Lovely to see Rosy in the green but worried that she'll jump to the red. This is almost inevitable for her.

PMPS 320 gave her steamed chicken & 1.25u

:?: I'd like to know that the progress should be; kitty will slowly get used to these low healing numbers & their bouce will be more flat, is that correct?
What if the kitty keep on bouncing after getting to the green numbers? This process never stops?

Hi guys .. I'm glad you got some greens off this dose, but it was a pretty quick drop, so don't be surprised if she's back up high again .. I like to think once a kitty gets more blues and greens, their reactions to them will be less severe .. we just have to wait for the roller coaster to slow down ...

and by the way... where's your Mr Greening for that nice 85? Rosy probably surfed back up to the pink floor in protest!!!
 
You are quite right Pip & Rupert! Rosy did not surprise us by jumping onto the purple again! Just like Rupert, once they see the green, they bounce. Like the couple in Titanic; Rose & Jack: you jump I jump! nailbite_smile
