I always know when Putty is blue at ps time. He was up 30 minutes before breakfast time playing with the curtains in my bedroom. He hid behind one curtain and then would charge out to the other window and go back and forth. He was also very chatty.....he is usually pretty quiet. Even though it was very early he was still pretty cute. dancing_cat

He must have been up late reading the posts which is why the nice ps this morning. It was suggested we try a new experiment with Putty to help with his big bounces and he is not fond of change.

His bounces don't last long, so you would have to catch the bounce when it first starts and hit him at +10 or +11. Only at the very beginning of the bounce or you'll run too much risk of having the numbers drop out if the bounce clears while the extra overlap is still in effect.

Is your schedule flexible enough to try something like that every now and then? What do you think, want to give it a try? What you would need to do is after his next bounce-inducing number, be sure to grab a +10 or +11 and if he's zooming, shoot (and test more, of course!). If he's only moderately higher, wait til +12 to shoot. Then your next shot would be due 12 hours after that, which will make a mess of your schedule. Putty would like it, if it means he gets his breffis an hour or two early. :mrgreen:

I would certainly be willing to try anything if it would help with the bounces. Yes right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Yes my schedule would be a mess but I am willing to try. So I will never really be on a normal schedule?

I hope he was busy reading his condo and saw what might be coming.

We had this discussion last summer. Miriam took Putty to the beach and I thought that he needed a pair of speedo so he could surf better.
 
Putty will do anything to keep you on your toes and guessing (except, possibly, wear one of those speedos).

Glad to see some better numbers for Putty. I don't think he would like the speedo. He is too polite and dignified for that. Come on Putty, continue the good numbers.

Hey, my cats use those for traveling! Maybe they would be happier if I explained that they're not diapers, they're speedos. :lol:
