yesterday's condo

Well, I expected blue this morning.. she was awake when I got up (weird)..but not really talking much (weird).. just hanging out.. I guess 95 is close enough to it.. but I say it's green! very very green! :)

Once I got in to the morning medicine routine.. she got more interested in sharing her thoughts.

Hmm it looks like 0.90 is slowly slipping away from her the last 5 cycles.. PS's are right where I want them but the nadirs have been:

79
86

I have been figuring I would sneak back up to 1U when I saw blue (other then +1s, which I suspect have been blue each cycle).. thought it would be this morning.. but tonight is looking pretty likely.

What's your argument for going back to the 1IU vs. the .90?

Check out Six's spreadsheet...not going to lie...I was seriously not happy at some of his pre-shots and some other testing times with his recent decrease, but then he could still drop into the 60s and 70s even with higher preshot values...so I think this dose it working. Now I've started tweeking the food to help keep the preshot values down. Since his nadirs (usually +3) are in acceptable range, I'm sticking to it.

Yeah I have poked at Six's SS a fair bit.. one of the few cats that sorta looks like Nova.. the reason I'm thinking about going back up is that her numbers aren't constant.. they are slowly creeping up.. don't know where the creeping will stop.. but don't really want to make Mr P work overtime while I figure that out.. thinking nip it in the butt, keep her numbers down.. let Mr P take a lil vacation before giving it another go..

It's the slow upward trend that bugs me.. if she was constantly 90s all day that's great!.. but the trend I don't like..

But I will think about it some more..thanks :)

But I know you study every SS in LL and Nova is doing beautifully.
I understand te OCD behaviour and to answer your question on Max's condo,
it's becasue I am nuts waking up at 630 jusy to test him but antijinx it might be
the last weekend that I have to, so, after 5 months, 1 more week antijinx.

And you would too to make sure Nova does well. :mrgreen:

She's still creeping.. but she seems dang determined to stay under 100 so 0.90 she got :)

On another note.. probably as funny as it is, since I've tested Nova hundreds of times.. I've always been really nervous to test my civies (things started out as a total nightmare with Nova and I).. and I've always worried because they got the same crap dry food that Nova got (it was expensive and prescription .. had no idea how bad it was.. sigh).. so I was pretty scared what the results would be.. Jerry gets a full blood panel every 6 months, and Hitch every 6-12 months.. but Nova does too and her FD came out of nowhere so I was REALLY scared :).. but I finally got the balls up..

My dad loved all his presents.. he feels quite strongly that I should get him nothing for father's day.. we'll see ;). He was a single dad when I was growing up and looked after me by himself since I was 4 years old (remarried after I moved out as an adult).. so I have a pretty hard time not buying toys and gizmos I find that I think he will like.. so the chance of him not getting a father's day gift is about 0 :).

So let me see if I understand. You want to increase because Nova's numbers were better at 1.0u. Some of the mid-cycle numbers may have been better but you had mostly blue pre-shot numbers. Now you have slightly higher mid-cycle numbers but it's a flat, green cycle.

I think Nova's doing great. Give the dose a chance to settle. If you still have a question, ask for some additional folks to take a look at Nova's SS.

I actually think the numbers now are better then when she was on 1U.. I like flat and low better than the bigger curve we were getting before..

What concerns me is that she's creeping up.. and I'm not sure at what point I go ooook now.. time to jump in and help Mr P some more.. I know she FEELS better when she's green.. she's got more energy.. she talks more.. she's less picky about food.. the last 4 days I haven't thrown hardly any food out at all.. before that AMPS and PMPS were always a game of magical flavours.. her turning up her nose until she had at least 3 choices.. and then she would speed eat and sometimes get sick..

Now I put out her normal meal amount and she'll eat like 3/4 of it, eats at a normal pace and goes about her day.. which is probably why 0.90 is working now, she's eating less.. (keep in mind she's fat and has previously been eating too much, so her eating less is a GOOD thing :) )..

So I have equated these green PS's to happy Nova times.. things just all around seem better for her.. and want it to stay that way. The best way to do that? I have no idea... that's why I posted my thoughts.. figured you guys could help me figure that out :).
