Good morning. Starting the sliding scale today. Last night I also made a spreadsheet that had my most of my pre-shot numbers, units given and units should have given. Merlin's number is a 422 this morning. On 4/8, he had a 444 and I gave him a .4 and it was not enough. On 4/6, he had a 396 and I gave him a .6 and it was too much. So I am thinking this morning to give him a fat .4 (skinny .6) or a basically a .5. So let's see how that goes today.

Sliding Scale
450+ .6
350+ .4
250+ .2
200 skinny .2

I have a question. This Saturday and Sunday, I am working from 8am-6pm. I will have the ability to run home to do "one" test. At what time do you think would be the most important time to test? +3? +4? +6? I am thinking with Merlin, it would be +4? That way I could catch him if he takes a dive.

I like the "fat" 0.4. Since Merlin likes to dive pretty early in the cycle, I think the +4 sounds good.

Ok, in looking and learning from the data today, next time I get a 422 or near, I am going to give .6. So, that lends to a question. In our sliding scale model, we have the 450+ getting a .6. So now that I think that a .6 would for a 422, should I change that sliding scale?

For example and based on data, my sliding scale would now look like this and with continuous data, I will change the scale for what unit works with a good number? Did I explain that ok? i.e. I will keep changing this scale as I get more data.

Yes,that's exactly what you do. When you get data, that supports a different dose, adjust the scale.

I don't understand why things have changed. I am a little relieved he is no longer crashing, but did like the low doses. Just have to see what he does going forward.

Yes, Merlin was much flatter than he usually is. I wonder if it is because we went 4 cycles with .4U and then when I did increase this AM, it was only an additional .1 i.e. not a big difference in dose? Not looking too bad for tonight too. Well, I will check in again tomorrow. Thanks ... good night.
