No FD :RAHCAT Though the symptoms did just recently start and it wouldn't show up in the fructosamine :? My test strips should arrive on Thursday so I'll give Leroy a pokey and see where bgs are. Kidney values are good, too. One of the liver values is elevated, though ohmygod_smile Not sure which one. I have to ask for the results when I reply to the email. Dr. B wants to do a liver panel this Friday if possible because he's away next week (kids will be on school vacation).

Dr. B changed the steroid to every other day for 3 days and then stop. I have to check to see if it's still 0.5 ml.

Me right now --> ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile It's always something with Leroy @-)

Hope he gets all cured so you can just enjoy him :lol:

Is that too much to ask for? @-) @-)

Appointment is Thursday now instead of Friday. Dr. B is adding a urinalysis. Maybe I should just tell him to run every single test available so we can figure out what's wrong with Leroy ohmygod_smile I hope it's not something like Leroy just decided one day that water is yummy and he should drink lots of it and make bean go nuts @-)

i think running every test out there is a great idea! did you win the lottery? ;-) :lol:

on the positive side, if leroy turns up as a diabetic, you already know what to do!

So far, so good.
I hear ya on running every test there is....I'm right there with you. If you do at least you'll have a baseline for the future.

Could it just be the Pred? I know it makes humans drink a ton of water and pee a ton.

That's what I was thinking since the symptoms started right after Leroy started pred. But Dr. B said it was highly unlikely for a cat to develop FD-like symptoms so soon after starting a steroid confused_cat Of course, this is my cat so nothing is typical ohmygod_smile

I wish :lol: Half a billion dollars would keep Leroy in tip top health :lol: Yes, even if Leroy somehow ended up with juvenile diabetes I know what to do.
