Happy Fursday LL!

It's a good thing I have nowhere I HAVE to be today! Was a very long night, and looks like it could be a very long day too! China does love her drama! She is eating much better lately, and for that, I'm very thankful. Makes dealing with her penchant for living on the edge a little easier since I know she'll eat if I need her to. I just wish she'd understand that surfing in the 70's is just as good as the 50's...or the 40's

Today is our 11 month annifursary of the diabetes diagnosis. In some ways, it feels like yesterday, and in others, it seems like we've been learning this dance for much, much longer. There's one thing I know for sure though....if it weren't for this message board, China wouldn't be here now. She's almost doubled in weight (which really makes me realize how sick she was at 8lbs) and I just know that there's no way she'd still be with me without you guys.

Before I start babbling (or continue even longer), I think I'll go grab another test and then maybe a nap!!

Lovely start to the day, China. I'm telling you, she's been looking at your calendar, Chris, and knew it was okay to jump in the lagoon today, just like she knew not to yesterday! Such a smart kitty! :lol:

I am in total agreement with you about this board and the support and knowledge we get from all who are here. Like you, my Cinco would not be here today without these wonderful people. I thank God for it every night.

I hope China surf safely for you today and doesn't plan another PJ party for tonight! :mrgreen:

China has really been workin' that juice lately. Maybe a sign that she wants to be OTJ before the 12-month annifursary? Paws are crossed..... Great news on the appy, too.

By the way, China....the bean said 70s, not 100s.

It's been a pretty good day for China! I was just too tired to deal with another entire cycle of tight-rope walking, so went ahead and gave her a little 12% food at +4 to slow her down, bring her up (a little)

Now we'll see what she has in mind for the PM cycle! With her, you just never know

My heart is breaking along with Rachel at the loss of her sweet Chyna. I sure wish there was something we could do, but I know that no matter what, Rachel's heart has a huge hole in it tonight.

It's great to hear how much better China is doing since her diagnosis last year. Nice numbers today.

I feel so sad for Rachel tonight.
