Zhoom decided to plummet today and get a dose reduction. He is at 44. I just fed some HC food. Will test again in 15 minutes.

Ditto what Elise said. Retest ever 15 - 20 min. and give some HC until the numbers are in a safe range. Remember there's a sticky note on handling low numbers if you need a refresher.

Yes thanks, I was just re-reading the sticky note. It is printed out and posted on my fridge.

We are looking stable and rising over here. I will continue to test over the next several hours to make sure he does not plummet again once that HC food wears off. Do I feed any LC snacks at this point or is he ok without food now, as long as his numbers stay stable or rising?

I would try a little lc and rest eat in 30 minutes.

With a 65 you can next try no food and test in 45-60.
