Yesterday
Thank you for all the visits, thoughts, and prayers yesterday. It was a long one, but we made it through.
Trix seems to be feeling pretty awesome today! I don't know what yesterday morning's barf was about, but I had noticed for a day or so prior that her appy was off just a bit. Maybe she had a bit of a bug, or maybe I gagged her with the gelcap. It's one of those mysteries that will have to remain a mystery.
When I got up this morning, she was waiting outside the bedroom door, all bright-eyed and ready for adventure. She has had a super-happy appy so far, with Mannie Fuds Dances and virtually CPCing her first couple rounds of breffis. We also had some crazy-eyed "zoomies", and now she is very snuggled in with Zen.
I don't have any updates about my Dad yet today. I know yesterday was long and exhausting, so I gave them (and myself) a breather and didn't call last night. I'm sure I'll hear something by mid-morning, but I have a feeling that until he is done with that AB, we're going to be somewhat stuck in a holding pattern. I believe his last dose will be Friday night. For anyone who missed it, there is a fairly detailed update in Trix's condo from yesterday.
