Hi guys,
Well, she's still in the 300s, darn it. Poor girl is quite listless, too. And more urine in the LB. I hate this part! Please come down!

It's a beautiful day here today - sunshine and in the 50s, so I'll take her out on the screened porch this afternoon to make her feel better. Hi Ann, gee I don't know why the link wouldn't work for you. I reset it, but it looks like the exact same file...I subscribe to a website called Fototime, where I upload my photos/videos. Hi Ann, gee I don't know why the link wouldn't work for you. I reset it, but it looks like the exact same file...I subscribe to a website called Fototime, where I upload my photos/videos. It's a link to their website. You don't have to be a member to view, so I don't know what the problem could be. So weird.. when I try to open the link, it tries to download something to my computer. Strange!

I work in the middle of Kansas City proper, but our office is very close to the world's largest city park. There are hiking trails and tons of turkey, deer and other critters... once took me 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot late on a Friday because a raccoon was blocking the exit and refused to move! :shock:

aren't turkeys a hoot?! or maybe i should say "aren't turkeys a gobble gobble?" kinda loses something in translation. anyway, i could open the link in your first post to see the video. i had a turkey fly across the road in front of me yesterday morning. we have flocks of them around here that wander through our yard. my youngest speaks "turkey." seriously! she talks to them and they answer her. kinda funny.

isn't this still NDW?

What does Tessie Lou think of Mr. Turkey?
Friends of ours have an "attack" turkey that hangs out in their yard. It hates the UPS man, and he won't deliver to their house: he leaves the packages out on the road!

Hi to any night owls out there! Glad you liked the gobbler video--Tom now has a girlfriend with him. It IS that time of year, you know? :lol: Maybe we'll have some turkey chicks to watch later on. They are adorabe, as they learn to gobble and scratch for food.

Ella, that is so funny about the "attack" turkey! Tessie Lou stares kind of wild eyed when they first come into her view, then she quickly loses interest. T.J. is also disinterested, oddly enough. He is interested in anything that moves, generally! Maybe cause they don't tease him like the squirrels.

Julia, yes, I didn't know they could fly so high until we moved out here. Talking turkey--that's amazing! We had one once who was all by himself and came everyday for me to feed him corn. I called him Piccolo because that's what it sounded like he was saying to me while he ate! And, yes, I guess this is still NDW. I'm so ready for it to be over! She doesn't act like she feels very well, although her appetite is fine.

Ann, yes it is nice in the country, but my husband had a heart attack and it's time to move somewhere with less yard work and upkeep. So, we'll sadly say goodbye to our country home soon. We have tons of wildlife here, and I'll miss it. I spend a fortune feeding them all! :lol: :lol:

Christie, that is weird about it trying to download something to your computer--bummer. Your office location sounds awesome. Lucky you! I would also be looking out the windo. Love the raccoon story! I just think they're so cute! Tessie Lou actually is shaped something like a raccoon, with a high back. She and T.J. both love it when we get a coon visit at night. Very exciting! Roni and Celi, yes, please coax her down! She had a great nadir today at AMPS +6 (124), but her PMPS +6 was( 302)! She has never had as much reaction to her night insulin as her daytime dose. Isn't that weird? I just hope she isn't sky-high by AMPS! nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

Well, it's time to get a little sleep. See you all tomorrow!
