YESTERDAY'S NUMBERS:
AMPS 326 +4=195 +6=198
PMPS 254 +3=149 +5=109 +6=85 +9.5=150

So stinky pink to start the day. He was meowing at 4:30 a.m. so loud that I had to check him again and he was a good 150. So I was expecting a decent number this morning. I really need to stop expecting anything. I just get disappointed.

Mr Max your buddy Max is waitin' for ya in the pool. ;-) Looks like you're seeing some nice #'s with the dose increase, so you're gettin' there... one step a at time.

Yet again a lovely cycle - at night. You must be tired Elise - I also have a daytime bouncer (most of the time). Until she surprises me, which is often.

Yes, I am tired. Part of me wants to stop the testing. I won't but it is so frustrating. I gave us both a break this afternoon and went to the mall with a friend and walked around outside. Then we went to see her mom's new puppy. He's already 5 months old but our moms keep switching places at the hospital and meeting up there on occasion so this was my first opportunity to me the cute puppy. It was a good diversion but now I'm waiting until it is time to test-feed-shoot. When I'm up late or should I say early I read other condos and look at articles and spreadsheets. I see lots of kitties in the boat with Max. He's a senior so time is precious. I just want my old Maxie back.

just to encourage you - i counted that in the past 2 weeks, he hit pink numbers 8 days out of 14 (57% of the days). From Jan 20 counting forward, he hit pink 13 out of 14 days (92% of the days).

In just about 2 months he's reduced the number of days he's spending any time over 300 by about 35%. so . . . i'd call that progress.

He's bouncing less and his insulin dose is a pretty good fit for right now. your hard work is paying off.

sometimes when you're in the thick of it, and especially when you're exhausted, it's hard to see this perspective.
