Looks like I have a very flat cat today!! I'm happy for it though because I have to be gone most of the afternoon with DM at the neurologist

Good girl, China!! You just surf right there for the rest of the day so mama doesn't have to worry!

Haven't pulled any April Fools Day pranks today (yet) but still have time! I remember the best one I ever pulled though on my own kids.....they were about 12-13 and had gotten up for school and I told them that school had been cancelled due to a broken water pipe. They were SO excited to get an unexpected day off....of course the looks on their faces when I yelled "April Fool!" was priceless!
 
Nice of China to surf safely for you when you have to go out. I hope your mom's doctor appointment goes well.
 
You were a very mean mother, Chris!!! I'm sure you damaged your kids' psyches forever!

After what my kids put me through, that AF joke was nothing!!

My youngest found a pair of "play" handcuffs at a friends house...slapped them on without asking how they unlocked...well they weren't cheap rinky-dink toys! No, they weren't "real", but they were well made and the friend had no idea where the key was. Ended up having to take the kid to the fire department to try to cut them off of him (they couldn't because they were on so tight and they couldn't get in between his wrists and the handcuffs)....one of the firefighters remembered she thought her kids had a pair like these and maybe she had the key? So we followed her to her house, and after almost an hour of looking, she came out with a key and released my son. Of course we were living in a very small town at the time, so everything that happened at the fire department made the local newspaper!! That kid was in those handcuffs for about 4 hours that day.....and that wasn't the last time he was in handcuffs either!!

Then there was the time one of the kids kites got stuck in the power lines.....neighbor happened to see him climbing the pole and came and got me as my child was about 3 feet from the top. He was going to get his kite back if it killed him!!....Had to call the power company out to turn off everyone in town's power so they could untangle his kite from the lines to make sure he wouldn't try to climb up again and get it......this one made the news too...with pictures!!

Shall I go on??....LOL

Thank the Lord that China is a good girl!!
