good afternoon, lantus land!

well, we started off quite well this am with a pretty green bg...and then a very good visit with Mandy Moorevet (love the name, Christie, and it made her laugh) her name is actually Mandy...
we'll get his labs back tomorrow or the next day, but she was thrilled with his health...happy to say that he looks like a different cat...better than he has since his
dx in june 2010. His neuropathy is barely noticeable, and all systems functioning beautifully.

I failed to notice when we came back to the waiting room that my laptop bag had changed color, and got home to discover that another patient had picked up
mine by mistake, so i just made the exchange and got mine back. Hope she didnt check out all of Binks secret "girl-kitty" files :shock:

Binks must have been inspired by watching the Butthead Movie, as he normally hides in my lap, but on the way home he was standing peering out the car
window at the world whizzing by. (if you read that fast, it looks like he was "peeing out the car window and the world whizzed back) :lol:

his bg when we got home was 69...not a very traumatic excursion apparently :-D

That is absolutely amazing. A 66 after a visit with the vet. Binks you are the man!!!! (said that another time today I think too).

I am so happy!!! Great report and vet visit.

:shock: if Binks has the stones (and coordination) to pee out the car window while you're driving, he deserves to get some splashback.

Hi Celi, so glad Binksy passed with flying colors. Wow and no stress with the Vetty with that bg of 66. Is Binks getting ready for the party?

Hi guys .. so glad you had a good vet visit ... I can't believe what a number binks had after his vet visit .. Sometimes our vet visits go so bad that MY bg's are on the black floor when we leave :lol:

well Binks, my friend... it looks like you are truly going to pull off this OTJ thing, and I am sooooooo insanely jealous. SO - just for you I went to the book store, the very expensive bookstore, the one with the very high tech culinary section, and bought every cookbook they had. It kinda freaked out that poor saleslady, but no matter. It is for BINKS!, my good buddy who deserves the bestest fuds. SWEET! I wonder how many ways one can cook idaho potaotes..... ~~ Mannie

I had the exact same thought when I read it.

Glad you had a good vet visit and all is well.
 
Checking in late to say hi and congrats on day 9! What a great vet visit and I can't believe the Binkster's numbers were so low after being at the vet. I also thought what Jan said about the laptop changing colors!

Thanks guys, for the encouraging words...I'm not saying a lot, but I am over the moon with his numbers...

And now, i'm going to exercise one of the nicest benefits of this whole "on trial" scene...

I fervently hope that each of our kitties and beans get to experience the lack of need for insulin to get through the day.
