31/7 Chico 90@AMPS

He's looking good, Marina! As good as he did on 0.1U! :)
But I can understand your worry about reducing too soon! :bighug:
:bighug: Thank you Bhooma for your support.
From 0.1 we still had a dose to go down to, now we would have to try OTJ :D as Katherine said, it is better for them to be in the 50-80 range before attempting OTJ, we can just keep him for a while longer on the 1 drop and who knows, maybe he will go lower :)

Hi Marina. I'm curious about the 1 drop dose. Don't you have a problem with air in the syringe when you are doing 1 drop? I seem to always have an air bubble when I am drawing a dose and I have to try and expel it or start all over. Your boy looks so good. I am so looking forward to you being one of the next ones in the OTJ trial.

I don’t think there is enough space for air bubble though :D every time i tried to check if it was really one drop i got it and didn’t see any air bubble

thank you Summer for rooting for Chico, i am sure he appreciates it, i certainly do :bighug:

Hi Marina! Chick’s SS looks so beautiful! You deserve so much credit for making this happen. How is Chico doing besides these marvelous numbers on only one drop!?

Thank you Suzanne for your kind words :bighug::bighug:, i am not going to say we didn’t do anything for him to get here because of course we did a lot of work and sacrifices but so do all the people on this forum. I believe we are very lucky Chico got regulated so early on, so i will say 99% of this is his merit :)

Otherwise he is doing fine, we have some progress with his diarrhea, not ideal still but we are not giving up, we still have things we want to try :)
I guess diabetes never comes alone, there is always a cause behind and even if we manage BG we can’t underestimate the root cause

how are you doing? Hope Darcy’s passing gets a bit easier with time :bighug::bighug:

I still miss him terribly. I get very angry at times. He should not be gone yet. But thank you.
