Is it possible raw (and/or cooked) chicken could raise his BGL?? He hasn't had any today and his BGL has gone down more. He has had the Wellness Core and Morsels today and yesterday so it's definitely not those. But he had a heap of raw chicken yesterday in the afternoon and his BGL went up at dinner... Seems weird that raw meat should raise it though!
 
It's weird. He's still getting the other foods! He'd be getting 50 to 80gm of chicken and that's it, the rest FF and Dine trays as per usual. He seems to be tolerating some of the Wellness food which is lower in phosphorus so I may need to persist with that, mixing with his normal food. Not much of a CKD diet but he's better off eating something!

Yes, thanks Bron. Unfortunately with a suicidal teenager, work, running a business, fatigue and a herniated disc in my spine I have no energy left over to make food for him. It's enough to be going through this with him and knowing he may have cancer. I've looked up foods that are low carb and low phosphorus and I've been trying to change his diet but he's reluctant. He will not eat foods he doesn't like even when he's starving. I will look into trying this raw diet when everything in my life settles down a bit and I have the energy to make it.
