3 easy clicks to get rid of all the spam at once

1) Click on the spammer's username
2) Click "ignore"
3) refresh page

That's all it takes to clean up the entire page.

I never understood the spam here. Seems like it has been asian (chinese or japanese) the last few times. What do they hope to gain?
