Nicer start for Luci than we've seen in a while. I hope this means that she's on her way to the lagoon for a bit of surfing.
I'm 'adjusting' to getting up an hour earlier -
this week there's a full moon, the time change and Friday the 13th...and I'm tired already.
The family visited last night for stone crab dinner for my DH's upcoming birthday tomorrow - this was how he wanted to celebrate. Stone crabs are a delicacy in these parts and these are fresh from the Gulf. Brought in by a local fisherman who lives just across the road from us. We enjoy the crabs and supporting our local guys. And bonus, no crabs are actually killed to obtain these claws - the ones that meet the measurement requirement is snapped off and the creature is returned to the water where he/she grows another claw - a sustainable crop!
